I wanted to change the timezone to UK but discovered it won't let me change the timezone at all. I did not succeed to make the wlan card of the Acer Extensa 2900 work. It's an ipw2200 card, but the radio kill switch turns it off. The fsam7400 also did not help. When I echo different values as root to the rf_kill value in the /sys fs, it stays on it's value. There must be a hidden magic.
