kayMy Breezy broke hard today01:03

kayActually, not so unexpected, kdm didn't start after latest xorg update01:03
kayHappened on my work machine01:03
steffenstrobelnot good :(01:04
kayI read how i could finally make dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg work01:04
kayAnd after it did, things looked better than before01:04
kayBUT01:04
kayOn the notebook , and i didn't notice before, things hang in boot01:04
kayI get lots of complaints about getty respawning to fast01:05
kayThis must be an older problem, it started recently that I had to do a /etc/init.d/wpasupplicant restart after boot01:05
kayI went through grub, booted into bash and repaired things for xorg there01:06
kayThe consoles are broken though01:06
kayNow... hm, what to do?!01:06

kayNo, it would be on tty7 i guess, but there is now x01:11

CellarDoorThis is from the KDE site's Kopete section: A change was made to the MSN servers a few days ago which prompted Kopete to display "wrong password" errors when attempting to connect to the MSN service. The problem has been fixed and you will need to recompile Kopete from KDE's subversion repository to get the fix. The fix will be in KDE 3.4.1 which is due out in 3 weeks.10:39

Diablo-D3buz: number one is that a very small number of programs are slower under Xgl09:10
Diablo-D3buz: such as traditional pixel pushing 2D video games09:10
Diablo-D3buz: number two is that you dont have glx, so no GL programs at all09:11

buzas for the second, few really care09:11

buzas long as we can use mplayer or something like that that's fine by me :)09:12
Diablo-D3as for problem two, I use an inordinate number of GL apps09:12
