Many community members have made versions of these. The Art Team should select those which should be officially endorsed and make them readily available (note that while new art solicitations are encouraged, there is a danger to having too many variants of the same object). This should be a near term goal. [01:26] about this [01:27] could someone compile all the 'powered by ubuntu' buttons already made [01:27] and put them up in a new page in the wiki [01:27] so we could pick? [01:57] khm, anyway [01:57] edited the wiki [02:00] ql :) [02:14] kafeine, why dont you add tem to the official website buttons page ? [02:14] https://wiki.ubuntu.com//WebsiteButtons [02:14] hem even [02:14] grmfp [02:14] them [02:15] just added the WebsiteButtons under Resources at the ArtTeam page [02:15] great :) [02:16] and added some descriptions and GIB over at Tools [02:16] there might be a lot fragmented stuff, i saw many people on ubuntu-users offering website buttons... i guess they are spread a bit [02:18] true, we have to centralize them at one spot so we can pick and decide if we need some new ones done [02:19] yep [02:19] hmm... i wonder whats the rationale for scribus on the tools page [02:20] me too [02:20] but its there anyway [02:21] yes, but its no graphics design tool... and i doubt the artteam will have to do DTP stuff .. :) [02:23] only if we use it for some kind of printed materials [posters, flyers] , but even in this case, i would prefer the gimp [02:23] we could organise the Tools in sections [02:23] e.g., icon building, printed material, general graphics editing, etc [02:24] yup, sounds good [02:26] i might do it today === Seveas [~seveas@seveas.demon.nl] has joined #ubuntu-artwork === kafeine [~kori@212.39.73.142] has joined #ubuntu-artwork === kafeine [~kori@212.39.73.142] has joined #ubuntu-artwork === ogra [~ogra@p5089D783.dip.t-dialin.net] has joined #ubuntu-artwork === kafeine [~kori@212.39.73.142] has joined #ubuntu-artwork === Seveaz [~seveas@seveas.demon.nl] has joined #ubuntu-artwork
