caldwell_when i boot my amd64 box with the breezy 2.6.12 kernel i get a 'can't find libc.so.6' error.  in order to fix it, i have to mount the initrd.img, cp -a the contents, mv the libs from lib64 to lib, and mkcramfs a new initrd.  Is this a known issue?12:54

lamontshould gcc-3.4-hppa be promoted to main, or does it suck to be SCC architecture?08:50
lamontthere are other packages which should probably be main as well.08:51
mdzlamont: just looking at the string "gcc-3.4-hppa" makes me CRINGE08:51
lamontit's a cross-compiler08:51
lamontgenerates 64-bit hppa code (so that you can have a 64-bit kernel for those machines that support and/or require it.08:51

mdz_BenC: it's fixed in current images, but the nature of the bug is such that the buggy postrm is lurking on installed systems, to bite the user when they upgrade08:38
