RiddellTonio-: how's the icon?12:09
alleeRiddell: http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/kubuntu/breezy/Pkgs.php contains a latest digikam & co pkgs12:09
alleelibkipi too late because it's in main12:09
alleedigikam and digikamimageplugins (still beta) so maybe too early for breezy12:10
alleelibkexif and kipi-plugins (universe):  upload to revu?12:10
Riddellallee: is it a good idea to get libkipi and kipi-plugins out of sync?12:13
alleeRiddell: out of sync?  libkipi and kipi-plugins release are independent12:14
Riddellaah12:14
Riddellwhat's new in libkexif?12:14
RiddellI mean what kind of release, major or minor12:15
alleesome minor bug fixes + visibility stuff12:15
alleeminor12:15
Riddellis it likely to break any rdepends?12:15
alleeI update libkipi and libkexif only and gwenview and digikam 0.7.4 shows now problem.  I would expect libkipi/libkexif low risk12:17
Riddellsebas: is there a bug reporting place for guidance?12:17
Riddellsebas: (I don't have any to report, just need it for main inclusion report)12:18
Riddellallee: groovy, I can upload if you want12:20
alleeRiddell: fine with me.  Only digikam* better wait until rc1 (then there will also docs included)12:21
=== allee explores lauchpad with respect to above pkgs ...
Tonio-Riddell: finishing with the colors12:43
Tonio-Riddell: in fact we have tried different things but it is not easy to make something that make people think "package manager" and that doesn't ressemble to synaptic, kynaptic or kpackage....12:45
RiddellI can imagine12:46
Tonio-finally it will ressemble a bit, of course ;)12:46
Riddellnot necessarily a bad thing, people will recognise it's meaning12:46
Tonio-trying to make something different has been what we call in french "un flop"12:46
Tonio-a big failure lol12:46
Tonio-Riddell: i agree with that yes12:47
alleeRiddell: are you interested to upload latet digikam* 0.7.4 pkgs or should I use revu?  breezy is still at 0.7.2 :(12:48
Riddellallee: what's in debian?12:49
allee0.7.4-5 is in sid12:49
Riddellneed to test that on breezy then and ask for a sync12:50
=== hunger [n=hunger@p54A62D85.dip0.t-ipconnect.de] has joined #kubuntu-devel
allee'k I build and test on breezy.  [automatic sync is a bit tricky afaiu] 12:52
Riddellallee: thanks12:58
=== \sh_away is now known as \sh
alleeRiddell: isn't there a switch/trick to disable running of automake during build.  I'm blind or tired :(01:45
Riddellallee: which package?01:46
alleedigikamimageplugins (from sid)01:46
Riddellif it detects that a makefile.am has changed it runs automake.  or something.01:46
=== \sh is now known as \sh_away
alleeyeah, but date seem to be okay.  Maybe I overlooked something.  I remebered something about maintainer mode but ...01:47
alleefound it (I was blind).  Now searching appropriate target for touching ...01:50
Riddell"We received a request from the user named 'ripper_on (jhonny-cac)' trying to join the team 'Kubuntu Team'"01:55
Riddellwho?01:55
crimsunhmm, I should probably join that team01:56
alleeRiddell: digikam* 0.7.4: http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/kubuntu/breezy-experimental/02:53
alleeRiddell: I'll do some more testing tomorrow, but on first tests looks fine.  comments welcome02:54
alleeRiddell: one note: -doc pkgs are in non-free already due to GFDL02:56
Riddellhmm, wonder how ubuntu handles that02:57
Riddella question for tomorrow02:57
=== Riddell beds

Tonio-Riddell: are you still there ?03:55
Tonio-the icon is (almost) finished03:55
Tonio-don't know if you'll like ;)03:55
Tonio-no your not....03:55
Tonio-I'll make a package and send you that by email03:56

Tonio-Riddell: bad news but I receive the icon at 3 am, and... well, not like what I thought...09:48
Tonio-in fact my brother didn't took care of the kde lok and feel, and that results an icon mostly designed for mac....09:49
Tonio-I tried with kde this night, it renders horrible....09:49
Tonio-We will have to restart it toonight, but of course we will not have it finished for today...09:49

Tonio-\sh: Riddell revued some of my packages and asked me to see with you.10:47
Tonio-two of them seem to interesst him for breezy, wlassistant and kdetv10:47
Tonio-he told me to see with you for revuing ;)10:47
alleeFWIW as a 'better-than-nothing-for-now' icon I would use the blue '>' icon used in adapts window all over the place. 10:48
alleeTonio-: wlassistant is almost ready at http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/kde-extra/10:49

alleebut if someone is faster no problem :)11:28
Tonio- Riddell sorry for the icon but I think my brother didn't understood it was a specific kde appication ;) the icon isn't ready according to its very different look and feel that standard kde apps based icons.11:32
Tonio-Riddell: I hope we'll finish a good one for tomorow or at least the end of the week.11:32
JReTonio-: does your brother wants to make another icon? i need one ;) ;)11:54

sebas[00:17:53] <Riddell> sebas: is there a bug reporting place for guidance?02:21
sebasmailto:simon@simonzone.com, CC: sebas@kde.nl02:22
Riddellsebas: and are there any open bugs ?:)02:25
sebasRiddell: None I know of (no major breakge at least).03:24
sebasI changed something that might've introduced funkiness, though: serviceconfig and userconfig now are "enabled" if run as normal user, but have the "edit" stuff (the things you'd need root privileges for) disabled, as opposed to disable the whole mainwidget.03:25
sebasThe same needs to be done for mountconfig (will be one of my next changes).03:26
sebasWe're not planning to introduce risky stuff though for mount-, user- and serviceconfig, so updating the package with latest svn should be quite safe.03:26
