kairu0Delvien, now i just need a better network configuration03:03

kairu0Delvien, since i'm usually not plugged in to a wired network, i wait for eth0 to time out every time i boot03:04
Delviendisable eth0 and enable it when you plug in03:04
kairu0i could do that03:04
kairu0maybe i'll use ifplugd again03:04

obontuhey, i just install kde on ubuntu for the 1st time, is there a cd ripper?03:05
raphinksure there is03:06

raphinkyou can even use konqueror as a cd ripper03:06
obontureally?03:06
obontuhow?03:06
raphinkwhich is what I do since it's really easy03:06
apokryphosyes; use the audiocd:/ kioslave03:06
raphinkobontu: if you have an audio CD in your player03:06
obontuis there a package manager for kde? other than synaptic?03:06

raphinkaudiocd:/03:06
raphinkin the address bar03:06
apokryphosobontu: Adept is Kubuntu's Package Manager03:06
raphinkyou get a list of virtual encoded files, in virtual folders03:06
raphinkobontu: there's adept, kynaptic, kpackage, kpkgmanager03:07
obontuwhere can i find all of those?03:07
apokryphosthe only ones worth really using are adept or kpackage03:07
raphinkobontu: to encode, you just need to take the virtual files from audiocd:/ and paste them somewhere on your hard drive03:07
obontuyeah i see tose virtual encoded files03:07
obontureally? kewl!03:07
obontuhow do i change the quality?03:07
