Aapzakanyway, any pcmcia acx users inhere?11:32
puckmanthen later BBS's started sharing mail11:32
puckmanso you could mail from one BBS to the next11:32

Aapzakpuckman, you must be rich11:33

leafwyeah, hardware was way more expensive back then11:34
puckmanrich? i wish, when the internet came out first it cost a fortune and I was on it ALL the time11:34
Aapzakif you need 38 modems to generate 1.5 Fl. per minute11:34
leafwso you were poor from the bills, how terrible!11:34

_alexwhere kde read the display resolution ???11:34
AapzakI think from xorg11:35
Aapzak.conf11:35
koshI doubt that kde even knows the display resolution11:35
koshit can find it out though, but I don't think that anything uses it11:35
Aapzakme too11:35
leafw_alex: that is a X server issue11:35
puckmanaint that in hardware?11:35
puckmanthe monitor bit?11:36
_alexbut display show resolution such as 320x240 , and in xorg.conf there isn't this11:36
_alex*shows11:36
Aapzakpuckman might be right, can't you read possible modes from the lcd device itself, maybe kde does that11:37
AapzakI'm just guessing,11:37
leafw_alex: i nthe System Settings, Hardware/ Display, can't you just adjust the Screen size?11:38

andypreGreetings. One question from somebody worked with Debian for years and now started switching over: To what extent can debian packages be used with kubuntu ?  I11:50
andypreNot about the package format, but of the dependencies.11:50
leafwandypre: with a lot of caution, but most standalone will work.11:50
