[04:37] braddr: we are working on your issue now :) and we have a way to simulate the 4 core here.. we are lokking at the moment to see if we can reproduce it in the same way, so you don't have to worry too much [06:28] don't work too hard at trying to avoid using my box.. it's sitting around doing nothing. [06:28] having a way to simulate it would be good for long term testing, obviously. [06:35] yes that's the whole point [06:35] but i think we found a similar issue with a t1k [06:41] I last heard from my sun contact 2 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago she sent me a 2 week warning. [06:43] braddr: ok, we are planning to work on it during the weekend.. so hopefully we will get there by monday/tuesday [06:43] if there are still issues we will try to pull strings with SUN to have more time on it === braddr idles to watch some tv. shoot me a private message to get my attention. [06:44] enjoy :) === daq4th [n=darkness@netstation-005.cafe.zSeries.org] has joined #ubuntu-ports === daq4th [n=darkness@netstation-005.cafe.zSeries.org] has joined #ubuntu-ports === jb-home [n=jbailey@modemcable139.249-203-24.mc.videotron.ca] has joined #ubuntu-ports [08:58] fabbione: progress? I see some stuff on the sc console. :) [11:53] braddr: yes and no... [12:00] braddr: the problem doesn't seem to be the cpu or the number or threads. For what i can see the bug is triggered by a different version of the ALOM/OBP that you are the only one having in this moment [12:01] i have got an older OBP but a newer ALOM and davem has much newer of everything but he experiences bugs that we do not see [12:01] so basically i did ask SUN to send me a matrix of ALOM/OBP for testing
