I just downloaded and installed the ubuntu 6.06 desktop version on a iBook g4. the installation went well but the system drops me a shell saying i do not have an root filesystem when booting. now i am using the live cd and can see /dev/hda but no /dev/hda[1-6] with 5 as my root-partition. fdisk works fine on hda but there seem to be no mountable partitions... by the way i have a samsung hd | 09:27 |
