majykI'm started noticing some weirdness with the Gnome network configure applet. It doesn't seem to want to connect to my wireless connection anymore even though the settings are in place. Connecting from the command line works like a charm. It just started doing this today, I had no trouble before.04:35

UbugtuMalone bug 44367 in openoffice.org "Interface in right-to-left mode has problems" [Medium,Unconfirmed]  http://launchpad.net/bugs/4436708:43
towsonu2003yaniv: after making sure that it isn't a duplicate (which is the thing I hate to do), you can mark it as confirmed and add your comments.08:44
towsonu2003yaniv:for that particualr bug, you can also ask the users (and yourself hehe) if it happens with edgy as well.08:45
towsonu2003yaniv: if it happens with Dapper but not with Edgy, you can mark it as "Fix Released"08:45
yanivHappens with edgy08:45
towsonu2003yaniv: o yes, I missed the last comment :) if there is no dupe, you can confirm it.08:46

mhbI'm sorry to beg for help, but nobody has seen my report for quite a few days and it's really problematic and crucial for l10n05:21
mhbit's the bug 6332505:21
Ubug2Malone bug 63325 in kde-systemsettings "systemsettings won't load the desktop_kde-systemsettings.mo translation in Edgy" [Undecided,Unconfirmed]  http://launchpad.net/bugs/6332505:21

mhbthat's why I am here today05:22
cipherah ^^ - thx dholbach05:24
dholbachmhb: could it be that the translations were not updated in the language packs yet?05:24
mhbdholbach: the .mo files were up to date (straight from Rosetta) when I tested them05:25
mhbdholbach: and the systemsettings should load the translations from them, but it doesn't05:25

mhbdholbach: it only loads translations from the .directory files which can't be translated (just the desktop- packages)05:25

mvognomefreak: we got a gazillion of those :/09:00
mvognomefreak: the trouble is that the error "can't install ubuntu-desktop" really comes from the edgy repository. it means the upgrader is not able to install ubuntu-desktop on the edgy system. this is a savety check to avoid installing half-broken systems09:01
