[10:13] <nihilocrat> it takes a startup script in /etc/init.d and puts appropriate symlinks in /etc/rcX.d directories
[10:14] <nihilocrat> I remember doing this before on an ubuntu server but I forgot what I did
[10:15] <nihilocrat> perhaps I set up the symlinks myself, but I doubt it / hope I wasn't sloppy like that
