sistpotytonyyarusso: yes, that should be right05:33
sistpotywell, I'm really undecided on wx2.805:34
LaserJockI think it's kinda nice to get something in quick before we actually plan on transitioning05:35
sistpotytonyyarusso: have you tried DH_VERBOSE=1 in debian/rules? might give you a clue what's actually going on for dh_install/dh_link05:35
sistpoty(export DH_VERBOSE=1 even)05:36
tonyyarussosistpoty: I'll try that.05:36
sistpotyimo 2.4 is really outdated, so I guess we should first try to transition the remaining 2.4 stuff to 2.6 and then decide wether we want 2.8... what do you think?05:37

tonyyarussoDoes anybody know how to pass switches to cp when it's being run as a sub-process of dh_install?05:48
sistpotyso I tend a little bit to get rid of 2.4 and have 2.8 once thats done05:48
sistpotytonyyarusso: no, you can't, at least that's what I get from looking at dh_install (and I particularily don't speak perl)05:50

tonyyarussosistpoty: no.  when this one, which is being run verbose, is done maybe I will05:54

sistpotyhm... been thinking again, maybe it might make sense to throw in 2.8 now and then transition 2.4 stuff to 2.6... that way we'd have more time to react on 2.8 bugs. however I still can't say I'm 100% decided ;)05:56

tsmitheAdri2000, it's "wired". it installs some files to /usr/lib that it uses, and others to /usr/lib/wired (by default) which was kinda untidy, so i configured it to install libs by default to /usr/lib/wired. but causes link issues. i could have a postinst script call `ldconfig /usr/lib/wired`, but i don't like that either. would it just be easier to revert the change, and have it scatter a few (not actually that many) files in /usr/lib?10:10
tsmithealso, the latter solution creates the /usr/lib/wired/wired directory10:10
imbrandonajmitch, ping ( again )10:12
imbrandoncrimsun, got a few minutes to help me come up with a short list of packages 10:13
Adri2000tsmithe: hmm, if it doesn't create problems when there are files in /usr/lib/ and /usr/lib/wired/, you can keep that and ask upstream to install them in the same place in the future10:14
