However I was hoping/expecting to find at least some jobs/events already defined (basic stuff like starting udev and mounting fs). but startup-tasks has nothing in /etc/event.d, system-services just has tty?, and sysv-compat has what you'd expect [05:11] i looked on the website too. are there no events/jobs already written for the basic/common stuff? [05:12] nope, not yet. work has been started though [05:12] https://code.launchpad.net/~keybuk/+branch/upstart/replacement-initscripts [05:12] myself, I plan to work integrating upstart with udev and the rest of Debian after the release [05:18] looking at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReplacementInitscripts, cups should follow hplip (stopped), or the cups hp backend wont be ready [05:19] that's just a rough draft [05:21] sorry, thought it would help to point it out [05:21] :) === int0x0c [n=ben@128.164.137.192] has joined #upstart === j_ack [n=rudi@p508D8FB6.dip0.t-ipconnect.de] has joined #upstart === Md [i=md@freenode/staff/md] has joined #upstart === juergbi [n=juerg@80-219-17-102.dclient.hispeed.ch] has joined #upstart === mbiebl [n=michael@e180111052.adsl.alicedsl.de] has joined #upstart === j_ack [n=rudi@p508D8FB6.dip0.t-ipconnect.de] has joined #upstart === Keybuk [n=scott@wing-commander.netsplit.com] has joined #upstart
