Keybukeerrrrr?12:26
_ion:-)12:27
Keybuka more interesting question, if you overflowed your location in the universe, would you return to the start?12:27
_ionI don't remember how the dream continued. :-(12:28

_ionI wrote a small util that might be handy with some upstart jobs. When called as lread, it cats each file from the argument list to stdout, while placing a shared lock on them. When called as lwrite, it places an exclusive lock on the file and cat stdin to it.06:14

sochi I just visited upstart.ubuntu.com, the site is nice but I couldn't find information about the projects status ...08:39
socthe thing is, upstart should replace cron, atd, anacron, init, telinit, udev, acpid, apmd, ifupdown, module-init-tools, inetd, xinetd, update-rc.d, etc.init.d, /etc/rc*d and some things I have probably forgotten08:40
socwouldn't it be nice to have a table with wo columns, one for the service it should replace and one for the status (maybe green, yellow, red)?08:41
socthat would be nice for visitors who are interested but not so experienced to grab the svn source, compile it and find it out08:42
socsomeone here, who manages the upstart site/wki?08:43
=== Md [i=md@freenode/staff/md] has joined #upstart

socon th first look, the visitor will see what already works and what not, so he can decide if the project is relevant for him ...08:44
socsomeone here?08:44
socor am I talking to /dev/null?08:45
soc:-)+08:45
socdamn ... no one listening?08:48
