nixternalRiddell: what was the reason for the build fail on kdebase?10:45
Riddellnixternal: no idea, but it'll be your patch that caused it10:47
nixternalall I did was remove 2 sects. Unless I booged something up. Let me run them through the EBN10:48
nixternalRiddell: it was my patch, I need to fix the cache package with the doc. I will fix it later tonight and repatch for you, sorry about that :(10:54

Riddellfedora?  that must be a tricky relationship :)11:39
ZerlinnaRiddell: as long as he sticks to KDE :-P11:40
ZerlinnaRiddell: is there anything I can do for you or are you only asking out of couriosity11:41
RiddellZerlinna: actually ypsila was asking and it got me wondering11:42
yuriyok i've tried editing a file then running cdbs-edit-patch kubuntu_93_ ... .diff. it applies the other patches, takes me to a subshell. i type exit and it creates an empty file in debian/patches11:42
Riddellyuriy: edit the file after running cdbs-edit-patch11:42
ZerlinnaRiddell: torsten asked me if I could do some booth attendance for KDE, we all met in Chemnitz and they still needed somepeople.. that's how it went ;)11:43
RiddellZerlinna: question is if the kubuntu poster will be by the ubuntu stand or the KDE stand11:43
ZerlinnaRiddell: none, because we're not the only distro at the KDE booth, and it's not clear if the Ubuntu booth is going to have Kubuntu CDs11:44
Riddellthey can still have our poster11:45
Riddellwe are part of ubuntu11:45
ZerlinnaRiddell: they haven't afaik but I can talk to juliux he could take the poster with him (it's in the same city where he    lives11:45
Riddellworth a shot, as payment for domain squatting on kubuntu-de.org for months11:46
ZerlinnaRiddell: he he :-D11:46
ZerlinnaRiddell: he was very collaborative in Chemnitz, so maybe we should forgive him ;)11:47
ZerlinnaRiddell: talking of domains.. have you heard anything from amu?11:47
ZerlinnaRiddell: now that I'm talking to you I have another issue ..11:48
ZerlinnaRiddell: on kubuntu.org/support.php kubuntu-de.org is only listet as a community forum11:49
ZerlinnaRiddell: but we're actually doing much more than this.. we have our own news section and we translate the UWN11:49
RiddellZerlinna: neversfelde I think it was gave me the text for that11:50
RiddellZerlinna: I'm happy to change it to anything if you send me the text in german and english11:50
ZerlinnaRiddell: actually, it's not the text neversfelde gave you - he sent you about 5 lines (or more) and you only put the forums11:50
ZerlinnaRiddell: but sure, we can send it again, if there's anything wrong with it, just talk to us, we can change it11:50
RiddellI don't remember missing anything out11:51
ZerlinnaRiddell: you defenitely need new glasses :-D11:51
Riddellbut it's your spot, just tell me what should go there11:51
Zerlinnasorry :-P11:51
tomaRiddell: fdoving has made a -ubuntu1 for Mailody, with two bugfixes, can you sponsor or shall I wait for Pointy Stick?11:51
RiddellI do need glasses as well but that's a separate issue :)11:51
Riddelltoma: sure, need to be quick before freeze comes in11:52
ZerlinnaRiddell: ok I'll send it to you by mail11:52
tomaRiddell: http://frode.kde.no/mailody/mailody-feisty/11:52
yuriyRiddell: debdiff old.dsc new.dsc <-- was i supposed to make a copy before running debuild? and what is the .changes file, is that a debdiff?11:57
yuriyand how do i make a binary?11:57
yuriythis is kdebase that i'm messing with btw11:58
Riddellyuriy: if you add a new version to the changelog with dch -i then the version in the .dsc file will be different and you'll have a new one and an old one11:58
Riddellyuriy: the .changes file is has some md5sums and other information that's necessary when uploading to the archive11:59
Riddellyuriy: make a binary with a compile  debuild -us -uc11:59
yuriycan i specify the module to compile or does it have to do the whole thing?12:00
Riddellit has to do the whole thing12:00
imbrandonRiddell, did you see seele's post ? http://weblog.obso1337.org/2007/user-based-testing-expected-for-digikam-and-ubiquity/12:03
