I looked around for a patch that would fix the FTBFS but couldn't find one. Fedora has 1.1.2 with one patch which looks identical to the one Debian has (10-bitfield-fixes.patch) [07:53] I also informed pitti about it [07:53] (via the bugreport) [07:54] which is bug #91699 [07:54] Malone bug 91699 in xserver-xorg-input-evdev "FTBFS with current xorg headers" [High,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/91699 [07:55] so, the big change in 1.1.3 was the merge of input-hotplug, but that's what 7.2 is all about (xorg-server 1.2) [07:55] :) [07:55] tv -> [07:56] tepsipakki: I'm not going to upload 1.1.5 one day before the freeze [07:56] I understand completely [07:56] but it's there [07:56] for people to test [07:56] ok [07:56] I'll have a look on the vesa update before freeze though [07:57] thanks [08:00] about evdev: there aren't many commits on git since 1.1.5 was released three months ago :) [08:00] but I'll build a binary for people to test [08:01] and maybe it's good for upload post-beta [09:27] ooh, [ANNOUNCE] xserver 1.2.99.902, [ANNOUNCE] xf86-video-intel-1.9.92 [09:27] more crack to test === pochu wants that!! :) [09:28] I'll be glad to test it :) [09:29] Anholt replied to my post on xorg-list that this intel-driver should be better with recognizing the monitor [09:36] tepsipakki: does that mean that the driver will detect my screen resolution, and that stuff? [09:36] maybe [09:36] seems that some of the intelligence is in the server now [09:36] that would be wonderful :) [09:36] looking at the changes [09:36] though it already does it :) [09:37] though it doesn't work perfectly [09:37] tepsipakki: if u are going to build them, can you please give me a link, to test them? :) [09:37] sure [09:38] ty :) [10:00] New bug: #92335 in debconf (main) "Debconf ask for process priority during install (dup-of: 68267)" [Undecided,Unconfirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/92335 [11:20] New bug: #92373 in mesa (main) "LibGL error" [Undecided,Unconfirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/92373 [12:00] tepsipakki: please, ping me once you have built the driver :) [12:00] New bug: #41349 in xserver-xorg-video-via (main) "GLX failure: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual" [Medium,Needs info] https://launchpad.net/bugs/41349
