phlaegelhi, I'm trying to get upstart to handle my mythfrontend the way I used do it in /etc/inittab (details at http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Frontend_Auto_Login), and I'm not sure it's possible yet.10:43
phlaegelI've got it mostly working (it starts the frontend, and restarts it if it crashes), but on boot it starts too early (before the mythtv-backend startup).10:45
phlaegelWould adding something like 'initctl emit mythtv-started' to the mythtv-backend init script be a way to get it working?10:46
phlaegel(and then making the mythfrontend job start on that event...)10:46
AlexExtremeyes, that would work10:46
phlaegelok, I'll give that a shot... just wanted to see if that was a good way, or if there was something better. thanks10:49
