[11:45] <man-di> but it should add all to your PATH too
[11:45] <man-di> so you dont need to fiddle with your PATH yourself

[11:47] <micahspoop> E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (13 Permission denied)
[11:47] <micahspoop> E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?
[11:47] <man-di> sure, for package installations you need to be root
