[08:04] <BenC> suspend/hibernate works for most cases
[08:05] <simira> BenC: a bunch of hp laptops had a problem with fan not starting after hibernate
[08:05] <BenC> there are some issues, but they range from acpi to driver problems
[08:05] <simira> BenC: I am ego enough to think that's the most important one ;)
[08:05] <BenC> simira: that's a little more specific
[08:05] <BenC> simira: well, I'm certain I applied all the patches I was asked to for that bug
[08:06] <BenC> simira: but, some of the patches wouldn't apply, and I asked someone to get me better changesets to pull, and I believe that never happened
[08:06] <BenC> since I don't have the hw to test, I had to rely on someone having the bug to do the grunt work
[08:06] <simira> BenC: great, I'll test on final, at least. I don't know enough to fix it but Tollef might.
