mptbdmurray, for the same reason fqwhgads.launchpad.net fails the way it does07:20
shirishguys I have filed a bug upstream & want to link it with the bug I have already filed in launchpad, how do I link the two of them?07:20
shirishthe bug in question is https://bugs.launchpad.net/sabayon/+bug/11177507:20
ubotuLaunchpad bug 111775 in sabayon "sabayon has a very thin man page " [Undecided,Unconfirmed]  07:20
mptshirish, click "sabayon" in the Affects table07:21
mptthen in the "Remote Watch" section, choose the appropriate bugtracker from the menu07:22
mpt... and click the radiobutton next to it (ugh)07:22
mptand enter the bug number in the field provided07:22
shirishmpt: aha, that's cool, although this is not intuitive for most people to find out07:25
mptI know, it's a continuing problem07:25
shirishif a bug has to be filed for it, it should be in launchpad right, or somewhere else?07:26
mptWhat do you mean by "it"?07:27
mptThe sabayon problem?07:27
mptOr the problem with Launchpad being unintuitive?07:27
shirishthe latter, the problem with launchpad not being intuitive07:28

mptSteveA, the Opera problem is because while Opera 9 is apparently excluded from a CSS filter that is supposed to target only IE7, Opera 9.2 does end up being targeted12:36
mptso the CSS that's meant to correct the layout mistake that IE7 makes, Opera applies too without having made the layout mistake in the first place, so the end result is wrong12:37

matsubaraSteveA: the one I mentioned now is about the WSGI bug04:12
SteveAmatsubara: about OOPS-487C1064, looks to me like the code fixing it hasn't been rolled out.  at least, that would be my first guess.04:12

kikoallenap, grab jamesh before he disappears into australia. :)04:15
matsubarakiko: ? 4182 should include 416804:15
SteveAjamesh: perhaps on a retry we get a cloned request, not the original one04:15
kikodoh04:15
kikoDOH04:15
jameshSteveA: yeah.  HTTPRequest.retry() does create a new request.04:15
SteveAjamesh: in which case we need to look at the added keys when cloning a request, and note in the clone that the keys were validly added04:15
jameshSteveA: we could probably preserve the list of keys we set previously though.04:16
jameshyes.04:16

SteveAwith schwuk standing in, right?04:31
schwukThese issues were taken from yesterday's Launchpad users' meeting.04:31
ddaajtv: you say post-it, don't you?04:31
schwukpopey mentioned bug 111751, in relation to the issue of people who04:31

schwukHe suggests that support contacts - or some other group of trusted04:31

schwukHe and flacoste began a discussion about this.04:31
ubotuLaunchpad bug 111751 in launchpad-answers "Allow 'official' answer contacts to 'Change status' of a question" [Medium,Confirmed]  https://launchpad.net/bugs/11175104:31

schwukemblem icons. ie, now there's loads of user profiles with emblems04:31
schwukhorribly stretched".04:31
schwukpopey suggested that we do a one-off imagemagick job to convert old04:31
schwukimages to the right size by padding them with white space.04:31
jtvddaa: and "it" isn't 4th-case there..?04:31
