serenyou didnt try hard enough11:53
adam0509I don't wanna try enough11:55
adam0509they should make a rather simple kernel maker like :11:55

adam0509300000 modules and configs :/11:57
seren=/11:57
sereni use a static kernel11:57
TheSheepadam0509: that's just because one module handles multiple devices, with your suggestion there would be much more11:57
adam0509much more what..?11:58
TheSheepadam0509: choices11:58
TheSheepadam0509: in menus11:58
serenkalikiana__, i think gnome-volume-manager has something to do with it, but i cant find out whats linking thunar to it11:58
adam0509no because choosing your motherboard from a list will take most modules and delete all the unecessesary module11:59
serenadam0509, what about oem boxes11:59
adam0509for example : P3C2000 (my old motherboard) don't have RAID, ATA USB2 etc...11:59
adam0509oem boxes ?12:00
TheSheepadam0509: but why do you need a custom-build kernel at all?12:00
serendell12:00
serenhp12:00
serenlaptops12:00
serenthats like 3000 systems12:00
serenwith 9000000 configurations12:00
serenthen you have custom made boxes with add on sound video and raid or etc etc12:01
adam0509errr, I'm not talking about making this at start12:01
adam0509I'm talking about making a GTK+/GTK2 app12:01
serenmake xconfig12:01
adam0509like a menuconfig but for noobs12:01
TheSheepadam0509: noobs can use the provided kernel12:02

adam0509I don't think so12:02

adam0509Even If I know my computer by heart I can build my own kernel, that's a shame12:03
