[06:35] tgm4883_laptop, shouldnt be? [06:35] I've been away from the web the last 2 days (during my move) [06:35] I tried to install it, but it wouldn't finish installing. Said it failed to retreive some files [06:36] i then tried it on my vmware machine and ran the cd check from the boot menu, and that came back with 3 files with errors [06:36] but i checked the md5sum on the iso and it checks out fine (after i fixed the md5sum file) [06:37] Well the cd chreck in the boot menu won't necessarily work [06:37] the failed to retrieve files from imbrandon's mirror? [06:37] like something related to a language file [06:37] it did say something about imbrandon [06:38] could be, i'll try to reproduce the error if you want me to [06:38] Yea, thats because its trying to install some language files that won't be necessary [06:38] ah [06:38] i havent been able to look much into it (as i havent had web access) [06:39] theres also a small problem with the md5sum file [06:40] the file it tries to check is /var/cache/mythbuntu_isos/result/mythbuntu-7.04~050707-i386.iso instead of just mythbuntu-7.04~050707-i386.iso [06:40] Ah thats because its ran from another directory [06:40] That can be troublesome for people [06:41] figured something like that === superm1_ [n=superm1@ubuntu/member/superm1] has joined #ubuntu-mythtv === MegaQuark__ [n=gary@pool-71-111-176-187.ptldor.dsl-w.verizon.net] has joined #ubuntu-mythtv [07:04] tgm4883, was there anything else you noticed?
