DanaGAnother bug I need to file is  about and brightness control: gnome-power-manager tries to fade the screen, but instead it makes the screen go bright-off-medium-off-dim (and it went off again until I manually fixed the gconf setting).04:42

macogwany chance of gutsy's installer being "smarter" about what it installs? its kind of ridiculous that it installs 30 graphics drivers when you lack that many graphics cards and that it sets it to start services (like bluetooth, in my case) for which you don't have hardware, by default.  changing it might require creating something that notices new hardware though11:44
