It renders normally [05:17] exactly [05:17] now i am confused why it is as it is [05:17] I've forwarded on the canonical.com screenshot with background to the website guys [05:17] Thanks for the screenshots [05:18] that is why i told you its a problem with the canonical page, you are welcome [05:18] btw can you access the ubuntu lists servers [05:19] Ubuntuwoman list archives are a mess and i had sent mails to the admins but have not got a reply [05:20] s/ubuntuwoman/Ubuntuwomen [05:25] do you know who looks after the list servers ? is it M.Nuzum ? [05:30] someone just sent me a link about a company that sells PCs with Ubuntu preinstalled, do you think that's fridge-worthy? [05:31] http://www.linutop.com/ [05:32] svaksha, for lists, jono is the guy [05:32] Today, lists are a pain in the keester to manage. [05:33] We have something in planning that should fix that but it won't be ready for a few months. === beuno spots Rinchen que wonders if he would help get another spec for rosetta approved... [05:35] at UW folks have been complaining for weeks now [05:35] You can always write one if there isn't an existing on there. I can do what I can to help you get exposure with the rosetta team. [05:36] Jono as in Bacon ? [05:36] svaksha, yes, I know. I started complaining when I started the Colorado Loco years ago. :-) [05:36] Jono as in Bacon [05:36] ok he is on #ubuntu-women now, so i'll ask him [05:38] Rinchen: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/rosetta-unifying-translations and https://blueprints.launchpad.net/rosetta/+spec/rosetta-word-lists/ [05:39] got some very positive feedback from the mailing lists === Rinchen thinks it's time to reboot. Stuff has stopped working [05:40] Rinchen, he says he is not , the sysadmins are in charge [05:40] that's correct, but he's the entry point for complaints :-) [05:41] beuno, I've saved your 3 links. My system has gone all unstable and I need to reboot. Will view in a few minutes after I'm back. === nixternal [n=nixterna@ubuntu/member/pdpc.active.nixternal] has joined #ubuntu-fridge [05:42] Rinchen: I'm not in a hurry, thanks :D === Rinchen [n=joey@canonical/launchpad/rinchen] has joined #ubuntu-fridge [05:56] beuno, read. I think that feature is partially implemented, at least most of the backend changes seem to be there. I sent it off to the Rosetta team for their review. [06:00] Rinchen: really???? that would be great! I talked to Carlos about it before drafting it, he told me to build a spec, so I assumed nothing had be done about it [06:00] that's also true. [06:01] I probably worded my reply wrongly. I should say that I think we have most of the infrastructure in place to do this. [06:01] oooh, right, well, still good news [06:01] thanks :D [06:02] I gave a talk about Launchpad on saturday and a guy approached me afterwords and we spoke for like an hour on how to improve rosetta [06:03] and that spec is the result (the guy worked as a translator) [06:06] excellent === beuno [n=martin@ubuntu/member/beuno] has joined #ubuntu-fridge === svaksha [n=svaksha@unaffiliated/svaksha] has left #ubuntu-fridge [] [11:55] any editors around to approve a story?
