I'm trying Edubuntu 7.10 . and I'm wondering what is the sound server that is using by default in the ltsp clients? esd, pulse, nasd? [05:49] The sound is going out through the speaker of the server (totem). Is there any way how to fix it? [06:10] gotama: Pulse [06:11] yeah, you need to right click on the volume control [06:11] select "open volume control" [06:11] go to "file->change device" [06:12] And select the pulse device. It's almost imposible to make any setup or fine tune. [04:48] Bauldrick_, probably [04:48] depends how keen you are [04:49] I've have installed drapper for nearly two years and is very stable. [04:49] Just sometimes give me problemes but it's unimportant. [04:50] What's happening with gutsy? [04:53] The only thing that I'm wishing to have on drapper is a sound editor working (ie. wavesurfer) on the thin clients. [04:54] nearly two years? [04:54] I don't remember exactly but it has been a very long time. [04:54] it came as stable june last year [04:55] in devel for 6 months before that [04:55] It's just beautiful and all my students just love it.
