I have had success using the advice found at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InstallCDCustomization on a 32-bit alt install iso. Now I am trying to get it done using a 64 bit server iso and I am having trouble with it.
[11:31] <qhartman> Even if I make no changes to the files extracted from the ISO and simply re-burn it, I get an error about the Release file when I start the install
[11:31] <qhartman> does the 64-bit disc do something that is not covered in the Install CD guide above? It seems the same on the surface, but clearly it is not. Is there any way to get more detail from d-i about what specifically it doesn't like about the release file?
