asaccwong1: i thought about it and actually i don't really like that master is used for the auto-builds you do ... so lets move our release branch somewhere else and use master as WORKING10:55

bluekujaasac: I have to buy a wireless interface for my desktop11:59
bluekujaasac: does wireless usb pens works?12:00
asacbluekuja: depends on the chipset :)12:01
asacunfortunatley the chipset is rarely known when you buy something12:01
asaccheckout the internet12:01
bluekujaasac: do you suffest a PCI one or a pen drive?12:02
bluekujaI would prefer a pen, don't want to open up my pc again12:02
asacwhatever you can find a the chipset for12:02

bluekujaevery new release is a new emotion...really..12:46
* bluekuja lunch12:47
asac in #ubuntu-release-party ... there is kind of traffic atm :)13:00
gnomefreak!info deluge gutsy13:14
ubotuPackage deluge does not exist in gutsy13:14
gnomefreak!info update-manager feisty-updates13:19
ubotuupdate-manager: GNOME application that manages apt updates. In component main, is optional. Version 1:0.59.25 (feisty), package size 849 kB, installed size 2088 kB13:19
asacUbulette: i am getting more confident every day that soon its time to file an ITP for xulrunner-1.9 in debian :)15:18
Ubuletteyou mean, a8 ?15:23
asacdoesn't matter15:27
asacxulrunner-1.9 ... whatever is good ;)15:28
Jazzvaasac, you here? :)16:37
asacJazzva: yes16:37
asacall fine?16:37
Jazzvaasac: Cool :). I've submitted two bugfixes for gnome-schedule... I was wondering if you could take a look and tell me what you think.16:37
Jazzvaasac: Yep, pretty much :). School, computer, friends and then some more school. You?16:39
JazzvaBTW, it's bug 13499216:41
ubotuLaunchpad bug 134992 in gnome-schedule "[gnome-schedule] Wrong tooltip" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/13499216:41
asacJazzva: i somehow didn't manage to extract the right patches from your ubufox branch16:42
asacwhy do you maintain them in a ubuntu branch ... instead of upstream one?16:42
asacwhich is why the fixes are now not in gutsy. i am sorry for that, I should probably should send a mail while you were away.16:42
JazzvaHmm, I thought I should do that in ubuntu branch. Then I asked if I could open an FF3 branch which will contain the version that is compatible with granparadiso...16:44
Jazzvabrb. phone16:45
Jazzvaasac: back16:54
asacJazzva: i don't know if i acked something that was wrong ... anyway, the changes for admin were not on stable branch et al.16:54
asacpretty confusion16:54
asacanyway, in the end i failed ... i tried to patch the upstream branch just for the layout and it didn't work in that whatever i selected it would always try to install the first plugin in the list16:55
Jazzvaasac: Sorry, I probably have misunderstood you. I thought I should name a branch "upstream" if it contains new upstream version and that it should stay clean.16:55
Jazzvaasac: Really? I'll check that.16:56
asacJazzva: yeah ... i think its my fault of not explaining the branches:16:56
asacupstream branches get all the code development16:56
asacubuntu branches only get packaging things ... and cherry-picked patches from the upstream branch (as a patch in debian/patches)16:56
asacJazzva: well ... would be cool if you could somehow replay the changes for the layout and admin against a branch that is based on the current "upstream" branch16:57
Jazzvaasac: I see :)...16:57
Jazzvaasac: the ubuntu-core-dev's branch?16:57
asacit might be painful ... but for me its as painful ... we cannot just merge over because then there are debian changes et al16:57
asacno the upstream branch is in ~asac i think.16:58
asachttps://code.edge.launchpad.net/~asac/ubufox/main16:58
JazzvaOk. I'll try to do that tonight(probably)/tomorrow.16:58
asacyou started with the core-dev branch16:58
JazzvaWhat should I do with my branches (ff3 and ubuntu)?16:58
asacwell ... lets first get the main branch right16:59
Jazzvaasac: K...16:59
asacthen we should do a ffox3 branch from that and replay whatever you did in ff3 on that branch16:59
JazzvaWell, the most of new things are only in ff3...16:59
asacyes the "admin" feature16:59
JazzvaSo, just to be sure :), I should open a branch named "main", pull from your branch and then apply the changes for the layout and admin?17:01
Jazzva...or "upstream"?17:02
asacright17:02
JazzvaOk... I'll do that :).17:02
asacat best in more than one commit17:02
asacok why do you need to patch old/src/mainWindow.py17:03
asac?17:03
JazzvaThat's the bugfix for bug 13653717:05
ubotuLaunchpad bug 136537 in gnome-schedule "[Gutsy] Unable to find documentation" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/13653717:05
JazzvaIt is solved in the new version (which is not in the repositories).17:05
JazzvaI just copied the code from it and tested if it works...17:05
JazzvaThe old code would look for help in /usr/share/gnome/help and it would report that it can't find the help file.17:06
asacok17:07
asacare both fixed in a new version?17:08
asacis that a main or universe package?17:08
JazzvaYep, noted that in changelog.17:08
JazzvaJust a second...17:08
Jazzvahmm... ok.17:09
asacplease subscribe ubuntu-revu ... once i confirmed the debdiff you can should subscribe ubuntu-main-sponsors ... or -universe-sponsors ... depending on where this package ships in17:09
Jazzvauniverse...17:10
asaci think thats the right procedure ... but my brain is currently a bit squashed due to burn-out after release17:10
JazzvaOk, I'll subscribe ubuntu-revu now.. .Thanks :).17:10
asacwait a second17:10
asacok17:10
asacrevu is wrong17:11
asacthats for new packages apparently17:11
JazzvaRight...17:11
asachttps://wiki.ubuntu.com/SponsorshipProcess?highlight=%28sponsor%2917:11
JazzvaAnyhow... I think there's a new patch-submission procedure17:11
asacits just subscribe sponsores et al17:11
asacthen set to committed i guess17:11
asacbut please read the document above17:11
JazzvaOk...17:11
asacJazzva: actually its a good idea what you do ... i wanted to suggest you do work a bit more on packaging issues17:12
asacso you get forward in your MOTU application :)17:12
JazzvaUmm... what do you mean by "what I do"? bugfix?17:13
asacyeah ... providing debdiffs for packages ... getting them sponsored17:13
JazzvaThanks... :)17:14
JazzvaWell, just to find a place to do a bit of programming :).17:15
asachmm how many are in #ubuntu-release-party? 1000 ?17:17
JazzvaI checked it last night. Hell lot of people. Got out.17:19
asachehe ... no its only 443 anymore17:20

Ubulettegoodbye gutsy22:20
Jazzvaasac: I took a look at the code and noticed that only the first plugin can be installed. I don't know when was that bug introduced, so I'll look at the older revisions... I also noticed there is another bug, introduced in my branch (which was not there the last time I tried it). The bug is that it won't install any plugin. I think I know what's the problem and how to solve it.23:34
Jazzva*The bug is that it won't install any plugin, no matter what you select.23:34
asacok23:38
asaclets try to get things on the right branch ... and then go ahead from there23:38
JazzvaOk... I'll see what I can do...23:39
