[15:41] <mvo> tjaalton: I'm not really a X11 expert myself, but shouldn't that be libxxf86misc-dev? my understanding is that the x11proto-*-dev packages provide only the headers for the wirelevel protocol and not e.g. the libxf86misc shared lib  that libxxf86misc1 has
