JanCI just heard some peopel complain about FF2 & FF3 packages stealing /usr/bin/firefox fro meach other after succeeding upgrades of one of them02:23
JanCI wonder how difficult it is to handle /usr/bin/firefox through "alternatives" instead?02:24

jcastroso how does that workflow work, do you put stuff in your ppa then when it's ready move it to the team ppa?19:46
asacjcastro: when its ready yes. but flock needs to use system-xul first ;)19:46
armin76asac: fix19:47
asacjcastro: well ... mozillateam ppa is not always used. things that are new can go directly to intrepid for instance19:47
jcastrook19:47
ftaasac, will be difficult.. they patched firefox, it's not built on top of xul but on top of firefox19:47
jcastroasac: yeah I just want to make sure I show them where it is for now19:47
asacsure19:47
jcastrofta: do you have the svn url for their trunk handy? I'd like to get an import going19:47
asacfta: if they patch firefox, but not xurlunner, we can still build it with system-xul i guess19:48
jcastroasac: fta: If you guys can note down a list of issues with them like we did for songbird I can send those up19:48
jcastroin the meantime I'll just introduce ourselves and say hello19:48
ftaok, i'll draft something on the wiki like i did for songbird19:49
ftajcastro, svn://svn-mirror.flock.com/master/flock/trunk/mozilla19:50
jcastrothanks19:50
asacjcastro: err, if thats a complete copy of the mozilla tree, we probably dont want to sync that for now :/19:52
jcastroasac: it'll sit in testing for a few weeks or so19:53
jcastroasac: I've been instructed to import as many things as possible by lp people19:53
jcastroso ....19:53
jcastrowin 1619:53
asacok. still has to make sense ;) ... but go ahead!19:54
ftaasac, a diffstat between rc2 and flock source trees: http://paste.ubuntu.com/19114/19:54
ftai mean full firefox rc2 tree19:56
asacfta: are those netto-changes or is there garbage because flock has rc1 or b5 or some nightly trunk snapshot included?19:58
ftai guess a bit of both. i'm trying to find which ff they are using..20:19
asacfta: do they strip CVS directories?20:19

Sergeant_PonyI have gig's of empty space on my hd and every time I go to send an email I get an error that it can't copy my email to the sent folder. Anyone know why?23:51
ftawrite permissions ? anything in the Error Console ?23:52
Sergeant_Ponyanyone know why TB would be doing this?23:52
Sergeant_Ponynothing in error console23:53
JazzvaIt might also be that your home partition (if it's separate from root) is full. BTW, Linux doesn't let you use all of your free space, in case you checked free space with system properties. There are two columns, "Free" and "Available". Available is the amount you can use.23:54
Sergeant_Ponyhow can I check this?23:54
JazzvaI usually open System Properties... Click on tab "File systems" and look for the info :)23:55
ftadf23:55
Jazzvafta's way is easier :)23:55
ftaand df -i too23:55
Sergeant_PonyI used df -i23:56
JazzvaCheck without "-i" too...23:57
Sergeant_Pony/dev/sda3            2774400  278179 2496221   11% /   <-- is this what I need to look at?23:58
Jazzvathat's the number of total, used and available inodes. Check without "-i" to see the number of total, used and available space in 1KB blocks.23:59
