pleia2heh, there15:34
persiapleia2: Sorry.  I forgot to update the list :)15:42
pleia2persia: no problem, that's what I'm here for ;)15:43
madeddiepleia2, actually, i got it from the mailinglist :)16:48
pleia2madeddie: sorry, I was talking about the ubuntu-classroom mailing list :)16:49
madeddiei like the "Thursday June 26 10:00 UTC" format, if you feed it to 'date' it gives back the time in your own itmezone :)16:49
madeddiepleia2, ah, ok, not on that yet :)16:49
pleia2madeddie: mind forwarding it?16:49
madeddieto you or the list?16:49
pleia2only posts by registered people are allowed, but I'll let it through16:49
pleia2the list16:50
pleia2ubuntu-classroom@lists.ubuntu.com16:50
madeddiei'll get on it now anyway16:50
pleia2ok, thanks :)16:50
madeddiei've just begun packaging some apps again, i used to do that for debian, since i'm using ubuntu now, might as well start there :) never actually did have the stamina to go through with the NM process16:51
madeddieso, hanging around here because there's always something to learn ;)16:51
* pleia2 still packages for debian16:52
pleia2aaand will probably enter NM soon16:52
madeddienice16:52
madeddiei stopped packaging for the general public and just kept a private repository for me and my customers16:53
pleia2I do it for work - so we do have our internal repositories, but my boss really likes giving back, so we have a DD on staff and I maintain a couple packages in debian that our customers use16:53
pleia2works out well, I do Debian development at work, Ubuntu stuff in my free time :)16:54
madeddieuhuh :)16:54
madeddiei like the whole "work with ubuntu, change something -> debian -> ubuntu, get your changes from the main repositories" :)16:55
madeddiemust say though, i used to simply package and hand off to my sponsor16:55
madeddienever really worked much with the BTS and now with launchpad, more things to learn ;)16:55
madeddiei guess it's good to follow procedure though, keeps things organized16:55
madeddieah, bugger, forgot i've got the list in digest mode :)16:59
pleia2heh, I still panic a bit when someone submits a bug against a package of mine in debian - they really need to get that web interface project done17:01
pleia2I mean its leet and all to have it all done through email, but ugh :P17:01
* pleia2 likes launchpad a lot more17:01
madeddielaunchpad is neat and huge, i need to learn a bit more about it, will do it while trying to get a package into universe :)17:05
madeddiepleia2, is the list actively moderated?17:14
pleia2madeddie: yes17:14
madeddiek ;)17:15
madeddieanyway, i forwarded it17:16
pleia2thank you :) I just dropped a note to James to see if he could add -classroom to his contacts list for those announcements17:16
pleia2and he just replied saying "sure" - yay :)17:17
