[01:40] <ceekay> BenC: looks like kdump/kexec is OK on 7.04... the kernel i was using for the crash capture had PAE enabled and VM_SPLIT was modified to 3G kernel / 1G user. I'm guessing one of those two didn't like loading via kdump. Used a  stock 2.6.20-16-generic kernel and it seems ok.
