Wubbbi^^ great :D10:29

Tonio_allee: I don't care10:32
Tonio_allee: intrepid will be a proof of concept more than a all day usable desktop10:33

Tonio_allee: based on a 12 month dev cycle, with a poc release in between.... but that's my opinion only10:33
alleeTonio_: as long as everyone will know it:  think about all the KDE 4.0.0 plasma.  Intention was the same as your.  But users had other expectations :(10:34
Tonio_allee: that's why we have to communicate a lot when the release comes out10:37
alleeTonio_: if intrepid will be a 'developer' release we should start communicatin this in bold letters included in alpha, beta,rc announcements already10:39
Tonio_allee: that's my personal opinion, we have to see how far we can go during the dev cycle in fact....10:40

Riddellapachelogger: that doesn't include you any more?12:31
apacheloggernope, I left12:32
apacheloggerwhich reminds me again that I should blog ... there is busy12:32
* apachelogger is wondering what the last part is supposed to mean12:32
* apachelogger grabs a coffee12:32
* Nightrose gets back to hacking12:33
Wubbbibug 212575 what about fixing that? Possible?12:34
ubottuLaunchpad bug 212575 in gtk-qt-engine-kde4 "When cursor hits right edge of line edit, right edge disappears" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/21257512:34
Wubbbi@ Riddell12:34
apacheloggergtk-qt-engine is horribly broken12:34
WubbbiOr is that a GTK ( Ubuntu ) bug?12:34
Wubbbiwe should fix that very soon, because firefox look awful on kde 412:35
apacheloggerthat is a general issue12:36
apacheloggerfirefox looks awful12:36
apacheloggerno matter what12:36
Wubbbiis it hard to fix? or just a little code mistake?12:36
RiddellWubbbi: I've not really looked at gtk-qt-engine-kde4 at all, it's typically full of small problems that are hard to fix (at least the kde3 version was)12:38
Riddellif it's unusable we can just remove it easily enough12:38
apacheloggerRiddell: currently it doesn't even build .. Tonio_ is looking into that next week12:39
WubbbiRiddell: dont we have a Vanilla code of it? so that we can completly reset it?12:39
Riddellreset?  there's nothing set12:40
Wubbbiohh ... not build yet?12:41
jtechidnaIn my experience gtk-qt-engine has most of it's problems with Firefox 312:41
jtechidnaThough it's quite perfect with other gtk apps12:41
=== jtechidna is now known as JontheEchidna
WubbbiIs Firefox completly designed with gtk2?12:43
JontheEchidnaIt's an XUL app emulating a GTK theme12:43
RiddellXUL uses gtk12:43
Wubbbiok :)12:44
WubbbiAn Other Question: Why dont we use Koffice as the default Office Environment in Kubuntu? It use KDE Libs and QT ... that makes it much faster. And it will look better :)12:46
apacheloggera)12:46
JontheEchidnaKOffice 2 is in alpha12:46
apacheloggerQt12:46
apacheloggerQT is Quick Time12:46
apacheloggerb)12:46
apacheloggerit doesn't yet messure up to OpenOffice12:47
apacheloggerespecially conercning reliability12:47
jussi01in other words, currently it sucks?12:47
apacheloggernope12:48
* JontheEchidna would just stick to saying it's alpha quality12:48
apacheloggerit's just not where it should be12:48
Riddellkoffice 1 did suck in important ways12:48
Riddellwe'll look at the question again when koffice 2 is stable12:48
* apachelogger isn't using offiline offices anyway12:48
RiddellI would really like to change to koffice 2, I think it'll be doable, but not for intrepid12:49
JontheEchidnaAll I need offices for is for typing up essays and junk for school.12:49
apachelogger+112:49
Wubbbik ...12:49
* apachelogger would love to see koffice used in kubuntu12:49
apacheloggerit would also save us a lot of space on the CD12:49
* JontheEchidna too12:49
* jussi01 also12:49
WubbbiI Dont like OpenOffice ... Its so slow and ugly :/12:49
Wubbbibut ... its realy usefull :)12:50
Riddellpeople like ScottK are attached to their office suites though :)12:50
* jussi01 hugs ScottK... there there :D12:51
apacheloggerit's not like you can't uninstall koffice and install openoffice :-P12:51
WubbbiWell ... i dont know if you have read my problem. Here is it again. I Have installed the new kde-l10n-de package but ... when I set the Global Language to german, its still english and nothing changed ... Just kde 3.5.9 programms are german :/12:53
apacheloggerWubbbi: global language?12:54
Wubbbiapachelogger: yes. In Systemsettings.12:55
Wubbbi( Global KDE 4.1 language ) on my pc12:55
apacheloggerah12:55
apacheloggerhm12:55
apacheloggerthat is no good12:55
WubbbiI think this too xD12:55
Wubbbiyou need any informations to fix that?12:56
apachelogger*installing*12:56
Wubbbi^^12:56
apacheloggerseems to be very broken12:58
apacheloggerWubbbi: please report a bug12:58
Wubbbiok12:58
* apachelogger knows that this worked at some point12:58
apacheloggeroh well12:58
apacheloggerWubbbi: hold on a second12:59
apacheloggerhm12:59
Wubbbiok12:59
apacheloggerWubbbi: the problem is rosetta12:59
apacheloggerRiddell: might it be that the kde4 translations aren't yet built from rosetta?12:59
Wubbbiok ... what to do now? wait for a update or can i fix it by my own?13:00
* apachelogger doesn't get it anyway, why complete translations need to be translated again13:00
apacheloggerWubbbi: former13:01
Riddellapachelogger: right, they're not13:01
Riddellon my TODO for this afternoon (which I probably won't finnish) is getting KDE 4 packages to generate .pot files13:01
apacheloggerWubbbi: the translations get imported into rosetta (the launchpad translation system) and then exported to language-pack-kde-de, language-pack-kde-de-base and those currently don't contain the translations13:02
Riddellwhich will get imported into rosetta then out into the language packs13:02
apacheloggerRiddell: is there a spec on why we import to rosetta at all?13:02
Wubbbiapachelogger: ok ... well i wait till it be fixed :) Riddell is working this afternoon :D13:02
Riddellapachelogger: because that's where we get the language packs from for one13:03
* apachelogger just finds it strange13:04
apacheloggerbbiab13:05
RiddellI had a lengthy meeting this morning about getting rosetta to output something that would actually be useful to upstream KDE translators13:06
\shapachelogger: do you have an idea where the video plugin of the composite stuff is storing the video?13:07
vorianmorning13:08
Wubbbivorian: afternoon :)13:09
vorianhello13:09
apachelogger\sh: somewhere in tmp maybe13:10
* apachelogger never found out and just came to the conclusion that it might not have worked for him atall13:10
apacheloggerRiddell: I, for one, did only see rosetta cause problems13:11
apacheloggeroh, that reminds me...13:11
apacheloggerRiddell: how do we get bug 203349 fixed for real?13:12
ubottuLaunchpad bug 203349 in language-pack-kde-sv "Broken plural forms in KDE" [Medium,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/20334913:12
apacheloggerusers are getting grumpy13:12
apacheloggerheya vorian13:12
voriankoffice2 is ftbfs atm13:12
vorianhowdy13:13
WubbbiGrumpy is one of the 713:13
Wubbbi13:13
WubbbiDwarfs13:13
JontheEchidnavorian: morning13:13
vorianheya13:13
Wubbbiomg ... enter is not good :/13:13
Riddellvorian: I think I just convinced devfil in #u-motu to package the new alpha13:13
JontheEchidnakoffice won't build in pbuilder :(13:14
JontheEchidnadependencies can't be satisfied13:14
apacheloggerpbuilder update13:14
vorianyes they can, I think krita has a bug that causes the ftbfs13:15
Riddellapachelogger: jings, I had assumed that was fixed ages ago13:15
JontheEchidnaupstream bug or packaging bug?13:15
apacheloggerRiddell: in launchpad but apparently not in the hardy packages13:15
Riddellapachelogger: looking at comment 14 it needs amarok reuploaded (which is a bit poor, rosetta should be able to fix its own bugs but oh well)13:16
apachelogger:S13:16
Riddellhmm, no rosetta people around to hassle currently13:16
apacheloggerd3lphin is also effected13:16
JontheEchidnaAlso the kdewebdev-kde4 hardy backport ftbfs with this:13:16
JontheEchidnacp: cannot stat `debian/tmp//usr/share/kde4/config/klinkstatus.knsrc': No such file or directory13:16
JontheEchidnaI guess that doesn't get installed anymore?13:16
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: just remove everything that doesn't get instaleld properly13:17
apacheloggeronce it builds again13:17
apacheloggerrun make -f debian/rules list-missing13:17
JontheEchidnaok13:17
apacheloggerin case the files got moved they will show up there so you can readd them with new path13:17
apacheloggerTonio_: http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/details.py?package=amarok-kde413:17
vorianapachelogger: looked at it last night, lintian was not very happy with the binary13:18
Tonio_apachelogger: do you really want to keep the "preview version" thing in the package description ?13:18
apacheloggervorian: actually that package is one of the -kde4's where lintian is considerable happy ;-)13:19
JontheEchidnaThe nice thing about amarok is that upstream lurks here.13:19
apacheloggerTonio_: upstream requested it13:19
apacheloggerTonio_: until beta113:19
Tonio_apachelogger: then, okay ;)13:19
vorianroger13:19
Tonio_apachelogger: advocated13:20
apacheloggerthank you13:20
\shapachelogger:  nope13:21
apachelogger\sh: ask seli in #kde-devel13:21
apacheloggerif he is around13:21
apacheloggerRiddell: bug 24984913:24
ubottuLaunchpad bug 249849 in amarok2 "Please remove amarok2 from Intrepid" [Wishlist,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/24984913:25
apacheloggerif someone has time for a reveu -> http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/details.py?package=mountmanager13:29
* vorian looks13:30
\shgrmpf13:34
\shthis video record plugin has a configuration ui...where is it? ;)13:34
JontheEchidnaheader files go to the -dev binary package?13:34
* JontheEchidna doesn't see a .install file for the -dev binary package13:35
\shwtf is .cps?13:37
apacheloggercapseo or something13:37
apacheloggerthe captury website explains how to convert it13:37
\shthx13:39
JontheEchidnaHmm, should we provide a -dev file for kdewebdev-kde4?13:39
JontheEchidna*-dev package13:39
JontheEchidnaoh, each binary package gets it's own -dev13:40
JontheEchidnabut I don't see an install file for kommander-dev-kde4....13:42
apacheloggermaybe there is not content13:42
apacheloggeror it doesn't make sense to ship it for kommander13:42
alleeJontheEchidna: -dev pkgs are only needed when other pkgs or 3rd party apps need it to build13:42
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: see changelog and debian/not-installed13:42
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/details.py?package=plasmoid-quickaccess13:43
alleekommander is about scripting, so no .h or .a etc needed ;)13:43
JontheEchidnaallee: so I shouldn't worry about those not being installed?13:43
JontheEchidnaapachelogger: thanks13:44
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: I moved the ack to the new version ;-)13:44
JontheEchidnahehe13:45
alleeJontheEchidna: If upstream installs stuff to /usr/include or /usr/lib/*.a related to kommander then you have to have a closer looks if a -dev pkgs is needed13:45
JontheEchidnaThat would mean seeing if it's needed to build 3rd party apps?13:47
coreymon77hi everybody13:52
JontheEchidnaHi13:53
coreymon77anyone miss me?13:53
* JontheEchidna doesn't know you too well, tbh :P13:54
alleeJontheEchidna: Software without pkg in kubuntu.  So this case is pretty minor :))13:54
vorianhaha13:54
voriana bird just flew straight into my window13:54
coreymon77lol13:54
alleecoreymon77: I always knew I missed something.  Now I know what it was!13:55
JontheEchidnaBut then again I probably don't know you too well 'cuz I'm new13:55
JontheEchidnaYou could probably be an oldbie and I wouldn't have known...13:56
coreymon77i am13:56
coreymon77and havent been around much13:56
JontheEchidnaWell then nice to meet you13:56

coreymon77anyways i have to go, bye13:58
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: didn't you think that about 12 hours ago as well?13:59
JontheEchidnayes13:59
JontheEchidna:P13:59
apacheloggerok ^^13:59
JontheEchidnaNo more ftbfs13:59
JontheEchidnaand everything that should install does13:59

JontheEchidnablame debian?14:00
apacheloggerblame apachelogger14:00
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: what is not getting installed?14:00

JontheEchidnaSome .so files14:00
apacheloggerRiddell: thank you14:00
JontheEchidnaand a manpage14:01
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: run a debdiff on the 12 hour old dsc and the new one ;-)14:01
JontheEchidnaand I think a few .desktop files14:01
* JontheEchidna doesn't have the old dsc14:02
JontheEchidnait got overwritten when I debuild -S -sa'd14:02
JontheEchidnashould I have been bumping ~ppan up all this time?14:02

Wubbbibug 24985414:03
ubottuLaunchpad bug 249854 in ubuntu "Connection to localhost has been lost" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/24985414:03
WubbbiCan someone help me with this bug?14:04
apacheloggerworks for me14:05
Wubbbime too but I get this error :/14:05
JontheEchidnasent14:05
apacheloggerah14:06
apacheloggerWubbbi: dpkg -s ksysguardd14:06
Wubbbi"Package `ksysguardd' is not installed and no info is available."14:06
Wubbbinow i have installed ksysguardd14:08
Wubbbiand it works without error :D14:08
Wubbbiok14:08
Wubbbithx xD14:08
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: http://paste.ubuntu.com/28270/14:08
apacheloggeryou only changed paths14:08
apacheloggerso nothing wrong with the intrepid package :P14:09
Wubbbiapachelogger: how to delete a bugreport? or mark it as "fixed"?14:09
apacheloggerWubbbi: it is not fixed nor should be deleted14:09
Wubbbibut the fix was the install og ksysguardd14:10
apacheloggerhm14:10
JontheEchidnaapachelogger: oops, forgot to rebuild the source package14:10
Wubbbiog = of14:10
apacheloggerWubbbi: the dependency on ksysguardd is missing14:10
* JontheEchidna headdesks14:10
RiddellWubbbi: no, the fix is to make ksysguard Recommend or Depend on ksysguard14:10
WubbbiRiddell: ohh ok ^^14:10
apacheloggerRiddell: kde3 had a dep14:10
apacheloggerWubbbi: also, when you report bugs, please always report the bug against a package rather than ubuntu14:11
apacheloggereven when you choose the wrong kde package the possability we catch it is higher than when it gets lost ;-)14:11
RiddellWubbbi: if you want us to take you through fixing it then let us know14:11
Wubbbiapachelogger: the programm " System Monitor " was not select able :/14:11
JontheEchidnaapachelogger: resent14:12
WubbbiRiddell: it would be great if you fix is ;) fix is allways good :D14:12
apacheloggerWubbbi: apt-cache show ksysguard tells you the source package for which you have to file the bug14:12
RiddellWubbbi: but even better if you fix it!14:13
Wubbbiapachelogger: oh ... ok ow to edit it launchpad?14:13
Wubbbihow14:13
apacheloggeralready did14:13
Wubbbiok thx :)14:13
apacheloggerWubbbi: so, do you want to fix it?14:14
Wubbbiapachelogger: i dont know how xD14:15
apacheloggerWubbbi: I guess JontheEchidna can guide you :)14:15
WubbbiJontheEchidna: can you guide me? it would be great. :D14:15
apacheloggerJontheEchidna: bug 24985414:15
ubottuLaunchpad bug 249854 in kdebase-workspace "Connection to localhost has been lost ( System Monitor KDE4 )" [Low,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/24985414:15
* JontheEchidna looks14:16
JontheEchidnaoh, that should be an easy one14:16
Wubbbi^^14:16
JontheEchidnayou're running intrepid right?14:16
Wubbbiyes14:16
JontheEchidnaOk, you might want to make an "ubuntu" directory anywhere14:17
JontheEchidnaand inside that directory make a "ksysguard" directory14:17
JontheEchidnaexample: /home/wubbbi/ubuntu/ksysguard14:17
Wubbbiohh ok14:17
JontheEchidnaNow you're going to download the source package for ksysguard14:18
JontheEchidnaFrom that directory, run "apt-get source ksysguard" (Don't use sudo)14:18
Wubbbiok14:19
Wubbbiis downloading :D14:19
JontheEchidnatell me once it's done14:19
Wubbbiok14:19
JontheEchidnadone?14:21
* JontheEchidna wasn't sure if that ok mean "ok it's done" or "ok I'll tell you when it's done"14:21
WubbbiJontheEchidna: done14:21
JontheEchidnaok14:22
JontheEchidnaYou have now downloaded the basic source package14:22
Wubbbigood14:22
JontheEchidnaYou can extract this package so you can edit it by running "dpkg-source -x *dsc"14:22
Wubbbidone :)14:23
JontheEchidnaThere should be a new folder, go to it14:24
Wubbbiok14:24
JontheEchidnaThis is the source code + packaging14:24
JontheEchidnathe packaging is in the debian folder14:24
JontheEchidnawhich is what we want to fix14:24
Wubbbiok im in that folder14:24
JontheEchidnaThere's a file called "control", open it up in a text editor14:25
Wubbbidone14:25
JontheEchidnaok14:25
JontheEchidnabtw, what is the name of the folder the source is in?14:26
JontheEchidnakdebase-workspace?14:26
Wubbbiyou mean me?14:26
JontheEchidnaWhat's the name of the folder in /home/you/ubuntu/ksysguard called?14:27
JontheEchidnanvm, it's kdebase-workspace14:27
Wubbbikde-baseworkspace-4.0.9814:28
JontheEchidnagood14:28
Wubbbiyes it is14:28
JontheEchidnacrtl +f and search for Package: ksysguard14:28
JontheEchidna"Package: ksysguard14:28
Wubbbifound14:28
JontheEchidna"14:28
Wubbbik14:28
JontheEchidnaok, now you should see Depends:14:29
Wubbbiyes14:29
JontheEchidnaadd a comma after ${shlibs:Depends}14:29
JontheEchidnaand enter "ksysguardd"14:30
Wubbbilike this? "Depends: ${shlibs:Depends},ksysguard"14:30
JontheEchidnapreferrably a space between , and ksysguard14:30
Wubbbiohhh doubble d ^^14:30
WubbbiDepends: ${shlibs:Depends}, ksysguardd14:30
JontheEchidnayeah, make sure you aren't editing the double d package either14:31
JontheEchidnabecause ksysguardd is also in the control file14:31
Wubbbiok ^^ is done14:31
JontheEchidnaok, now save14:31
Wubbbiok14:31
* JontheEchidna forgot that you need a gpg key to sign the package with14:32
Wubbbiaha how to get?14:32
JontheEchidnalet me find a guide14:33
Wubbbiok14:33
JontheEchidnahttps://help.ubuntu.com/community/GnuPrivacyGuardHowto#Generating%20an%20OpenPGP%20Key14:35
WubbbiJontheEchidna: what do i need? DSA and Elgamal, only DSA or RSA?14:39
JontheEchidnaRSA, I think14:39
Wubbbiok14:39
Wubbbikey size?14:40
JontheEchidna2048 is good14:40
Wubbbiok14:40
Wubbbihow long valid? longest time?14:40
JontheEchidnasure14:41
Wubbbican i choose the Passphrase by my own?14:43
JontheEchidnayou don't want anyone else knowing it14:43
JontheEchidnaor else somebody could make a package and say that they're you14:44
Wubbbiok14:44
JontheEchidnaIt's basically a password14:44
Wubbbiok14:45
Wubbbii have done a gpg14:45
JontheEchidnanice14:45
Wubbbiand now?14:46
JontheEchidnaDid you follow the rest of the guide (e.g. putting the line in ~/.bashrc)?14:46
JontheEchidnaand then the killall -1 gpg-agent stuff14:46
Wubbbiohh no14:46
Wubbbiok wait :D14:46
JontheEchidna:)14:47
Wubbbiok done14:48
JontheEchidnaNow we're going to open the changelog file in your text editor14:49
JontheEchidnaThis basically says what you changed14:50
JontheEchidna(changelog is in the debian folder)14:50
Wubbbiok14:51
Wubbbidone14:51
JontheEchidnacopy the whole most recent entry, and paste it at the top14:52
JontheEchidnamake sure 1 blank line separates the entries14:52
seelehmm.. no idea when the next kubuntu meeting is?14:52

apacheloggerJontheEchidna: I think it makes more sense to use dch14:53
apacheloggerless work that is14:53
JontheEchidnaah yeah, you're right14:54
JontheEchidnabut I want him to be familiar with what happens14:54
JontheEchidnaWubbbi: ok, so you just made a bugfix. Now we're going to have to bump the version number up14:55
apacheloggergood point14:55
Wubbbiok14:55
JontheEchidna4.0.83-0ubuntu314:55
JontheEchidnawe'd want to make that -0ubuntu414:55

WubbbiJontheEchidna: The isseu in https://wiki.kubuntu.org/Kubuntu/Todo "background:something like the KDE default (Blue Curls)"19:35
Wubbbiis done :)19:35
Wubbbi* issue19:36
JontheEchidnaHmm, I think I'll change that whole entry to something else since KDE resolved that themselves19:39
Wubbbihmm ^^ yes19:40
Wubbbiwhat about: "Jockey:pyQt 4 to PyKDE 4"?19:41
Wubbbiyou need help?19:41
JontheEchidnanah19:41
JontheEchidnaIt's basically almost done19:42
Wubbbiok :)19:42
JontheEchidnaJust need the Jockey maintainer to review my work19:42
yuriyWubbbi: if you're looking for something to do, I think userconfig and mountconfig are still needed19:42
Wubbbiyuriy: In Kubuntu or Ubuntu?19:43
yuriyKubuntu, it's on the ToDo page19:43
Wubbbiohhh :) I see. But isn't it done?19:44
Wubbbiohhh no xD19:44
Wubbbiwell is someone doing that:19:46
Wubbbi logout19:47
Wubbbi19:47
Wubbbiremove choices from dialogue19:47
Wubbbii would do this19:47
=== supert0nes is now known as supert0nes[A]
WubbbiJontheEchidna: bug found ... installing update: " dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/kdebase-workspace-wallpapers_4%3a4.0.98-0ubuntu5_all.deb (--unpack):trying to over write`/usr/share/wallpapers/Blue_Curl/contents/images/1024x768.jpg',which is also in package kdebase-workspace-data20:20
JontheEchidnaHmm, Jonathan Riddell was actually the one who moved that wallpaper20:22
JontheEchidnanot Jonathan Thomas ;)20:22
Wubbbiohhh ... omg xD can I fix it or is it hard to fix?20:22
JontheEchidnaoh, what is the output of apt-cache policy kdebase-workspace-bin?20:22
JontheEchidnawhat version is it at?20:23
Wubbbithats the version 4.0.98-ubuntu520:23
JontheEchidnayep, then that's a bug20:23
Wubbbican I fix it? or is it hard to fix?20:23
JontheEchidnaIt should be pretty easy20:24
Wubbbieverything just because of a Wallpaper xD20:24
JontheEchidnaIt's easy to work around20:24
Wubbbiyeahhh :D20:24
JontheEchidnasudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/kdebase-workspace-wallpapers_4%3a4.0.98-0ubuntu5_all.deb20:24
JontheEchidnabut that just works around the bug20:25
Wubbbiaha great it works :D20:25
JontheEchidna-0ubuntu5 was the version you just did, right?20:25
Wubbbiyes :) but i have changed nothing on wallpaper or so on20:26
JontheEchidnaI mean -0ubuntu5 was the package that fixed the ksysguard bug20:26
JontheEchidnaright?20:26
Wubbbiyes20:26
JontheEchidnaok, then you should still have the source and stuff20:26
Wubbbiyes20:27
Wubbbi:D20:27
JontheEchidnakdebase-workspace is the source package, but it is also split up into several binary packages20:27
Wubbbishould I fix the bug? Now i know how to upload and so on :)20:27
JontheEchidnaI can teach you how to fix this one20:28
JontheEchidnaone of these binary packages is called kdebase-workspace-wallpapers20:28
JontheEchidnaand another is called kdebase-workspace-bin20:28
JontheEchidnaboth of these binary packages have a list of files that belong to them20:28
JontheEchidnaif a file is in two or more packages, you get the error you just got now20:29
Wubbbiok20:29
Wubbbiso what i shal do now?20:29
JontheEchidnaThese lists are .install files, so you'll want to find kdebase-workspace-bin.install20:29
JontheEchidnain the debian dir20:30
JontheEchidnaoh, you'll also want to file a bug report of course ;)20:30
Wubbbiok I report ... wait20:30
Wubbbii love to fix bugs :D20:31
JontheEchidnait gets harder, trust me20:31
JontheEchidnaespecially when the bugs aren't with the packaging20:31
JontheEchidnaand with the actual program20:32
JontheEchidnathen you have to know how to program and stuff20:32
WubbbiWell after the Summerholydays I'm going to a Informaik school. I will lern it there. I have a Linux lesson xD20:33
Wubbbibug is reported. :)20:35
Wubbbibug 24994820:36

JontheEchidnaactually, could you tell me what riddel did in version 4.0.98-0ubuntu4?20:41
WubbbiAt this time launchpad is allways slow xD20:41
Wubbbik wait20:42
Wubbbi   * New upstream default wallpaper Blue_Curl, move from -wallpapers to -data20:42
Wubbbi   * Add kubuntu_09_kickoff_favourites.diff, add kontact, amarok, kopete to menu favourites20:42
Wubbbithat was the 2 changes20:42
JontheEchidnaok, now we want to make sure that blue_curl actually got moved to -data20:43
JontheEchidnaso open up the .install file for -data20:43
JontheEchidnaand make sure all the blue curl stuff you deleted is actually in that package20:43
Wubbbidone20:44
JontheEchidnawas it all in there?20:44
JontheEchidnaor did you have to add it?20:44
Wubbbieverything is there20:44
JontheEchidnaok, good20:44
JontheEchidnamake a changelog entry20:44
Wubbbisave and changelog? ok20:45
