[21:44] <pwnguin> maybe there was some sound queued up that pulse audio blocked?
[21:45] <pwnguin> seems reasonable if gdm were to start a thread that blocks on a mutex to the soundcard, and then something causes pulse audio to restart
[21:46] <pwnguin> but this is just wild theory that should be compared against how code actually is written :/
