bdrung_i want to set the package of the debian bug in launchpad to apt-mirror, but it does not work ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt-mirror/+bug/244613 )00:44
ubottuLaunchpad bug 244613 in apt-mirror "[intrepid alpha1] apt-mirror gives error "closedir() attempted on invalid dirhandle DIR at /usr/bin/apt-mirror line 537."" [Undecided,Fix committed]00:44
bdrung_but apt-mirror exists. what do i wrong?00:44
wgrantbdrung_: It's complaining that it's not published?00:47
bdrung_wgrant: but it is long ago: http://packages.qa.debian.org/a/apt-mirror.html00:48
=== bdrung_ is now known as bdrung
wgrantbdrung: That's not in Launchpad.00:48
bdrungwhat can i do?00:48
wgrantbdrung: There's a Launchpad misfeature in play here.00:48
wgrantWait.00:48
wgrantAnd complain at peoplee.00:49
wgrantThe problem is that a couple of days ago Debian was imported into Launchpad.00:49
bdrungand?00:49
wgrantBut it isn't being officially published from there like Ubuntu is, so Launchpad is of the opinion that it has no packages.00:49
wgrantThere's nothing you can do except complain, I'm afraid.00:50
wgrantI presume somebody is working on a fix.00:50
bdrungah, so the debian distribution has no packages.00:50
wgrantAh.00:51
wgrantEr, yes.00:51
bdrungis there a bugreport for it?00:51
wgrantI'm not sure, but bug #291512 seems at least somewhat relevant.00:52
ubottuLaunchpad bug 291512 in soyuz "update-pkgcache should consider pending publications" [Medium,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/29151200:52
wgrantThere are no Soyuz devs here now, unfortunately.00:52
bdrungwgrant: thx00:54
calci have an issue04:50
calchttps://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bugs?orderby=-datecreated&field.status%3Alist=TRIAGED&field.status_upstream=hide_upstream04:50
calcthat hides all bugs that have any kind of upstream status (afaict) even 'invalid'04:50
wgrantcalc: File a bug, I suspect.04:51
calcthere is no way to delete an upstream task from a bug so there is no easy way to see bugs without real upstream status04:51
calcwgrant: ok04:51
calcso my issue is i am losing bugs when trying to effectively triage04:51
Hobbseecalc: um, wrong day?04:53
Hobbseecalc: it's a saturday in most countries by now.04:53
Hobbseebut, yes, apart from that --> bug, and wait.04:53
Hobbseewonder if the bug guys will be able to give you a quicker solution on monday, though04:53
calcheh i'll be in the air on monday :\04:55
calctake off at 6:30am sunday and land at 3:00pm on monday04:55
* calc wonders how many other bugs are hiding in between the cracks for OOo04:56
* calc would really like to be able to delete 'tasks' off of bugs that would solve lots of problems including this one04:58
calcbug 29196804:59
ubottuLaunchpad bug 291968 in launchpad "hide_upstream seems to hide bugs with 'invalid' upstream status" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/29196804:59
calcthats my bug :)04:59
calchopefully i'll have irc access next week05:00

StedevilHi :) I have a problem with the SVN importing of launchpad. 3 weeks ago I tried to import freedroidRPG trunk from SF and it is constantly failing. https://code.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/freedroid/trunk10:48
StedevilCould somebody help me try to solve it?10:49
StedevilI suspect the problem might be that we dont have a /trunk folder on our SVN at SF, in fact we dont have any branches at all so "trunk" is situated in the root folder10:50
StedevilHowever I dont seem to be able to find any way of specifying exact location for the import.10:51
StedevilIn fact, I dont find any controls at all, not even "delete this import", anywhere.10:52
RainCTHi11:54
RainCTI can't create a bug watch for Debian (LP says «u'Package xoids not published in Debian'»), but the package does indeed exist (http://packages.debian.org/sid/xoids)11:55
wgrantRainCT: That's a Launchpad bug, and it was triggered a couple of days ago when they started to import Debian. It's known.11:59
Stedevilwgrant: do you perhaps have any insight on my problem I wrote earlier? :)12:03
wgrantStedevil: You would probably do better asking on a weekday, when there are Launchpad developers here.12:05
StedevilAhh, thanks :)12:05
RainCTwgrant: OK, thanks12:08
