Len_Greetings, all, and Happy New Year02:27
crimsun(same to you & yours)02:27
Len_I have a problem that I am hoping to get some direction on02:28
Len_I loaded 8.10 on my daughters older computer, dual boot with Win98 SP202:28
Len_Booting into Ubuntu is not a problem, but when she uses Pidgen, Pidgen fails02:28
Len_She can chat a couple of times (Yahoo Messenger), and then the program simply locks up02:29
Len_Has anyone else experienced the same thing?02:29
crimsunLen_: i think you will want to redirect that question to #ubuntu02:30
Len_Ok..  .02:30

crimsunfranklin: please ask in #ubuntu-tw04:51
ArenlorCan anyone give me some help on what I should do? I mainly want to help checking for duplicates and expiring reports, but don't know how/what to do.05:53
macoArenlor: i find it easiest to find duplicates by just reading a lot of bugs. like i would read the new bugs as they come in, and sometimes youll see someone reporting two bugs in a row of the same thing. or you'll see one that you know you saw the day before...things like that05:55
crimsunor you can do a simple string search on "[apport]"05:56
macooh gosh yeah...apport bugs get duped a lot05:57
ArenlorI love Ubuntu's bug #106:03

ubottuUbuntu bug 188468 in epiphany-browser "Epiphany icon missing" [Undecided,Confirmed]12:54
savvasThe icon file is there, it's a matter of "Categories=" change12:54
savvas* I mean the .desktop file for the Applications > Internet entry12:55
thekornsavvas, I think there is no need to file a new bugreport, you cahnged the status back to confirmed, so this bug is on the radar again14:14
savvasah cool, hehe14:18
