[00:06] i am trying to install ubuntu-mid in an arm qemu but i get broken packages [00:06] just wondered if this was known about? [13:58] test [13:59] Hello all [13:59] I got a question about ubuntu running in a arm platform [14:00] Is it's performance ok when ubuntu running in Ti OMAP? [14:00] 3430 [14:03] Basically, I want to know the status about ubuntu on a arm platform. [14:04] "Debian ARMel TODO" seems answer my question. :) [14:31] hmm. ubuntu arm is compiled with -thumb is it not? [14:52] I have no idea about that [15:42] <[g2]> rwhitby: I'm surprised to find you here :) [15:43] <[g2]> suihkulokki: I this those are called 'sheeva' gym exercises to make ARM stronger, faster, better :) [16:05] [g2]: are you sure it's not for "making ARM moving forward faster" ;) [16:07] <[g2]> suihkulokki: time will tell :) [16:09] hopefully it makes it better! [16:15] <[g2]> hey ka6sox-laptop :) [16:15] howdy [g2] good to see ya. [17:16] only problems relating to my kernel [17:17] ah - 64mb ram seems a bit low though [17:17] basically it got to 30% of the way through installing the base system then it tried to go to into low power mode or something, and there was a kernel panic [17:17] how's the hw support? [17:17] i'm working on hw support with the linwizard project [17:18] we actually have almost everything working except wifi [17:18] *nood* [17:19] -o [17:20] oh and sound... sound is the major thing we miss... we can make phone calls, you just can't hear the other end, and they can't hear you :/ [19:14] Stskeeps: Yes, it's built with Thumb; armv5t actually [20:01] k, good
