[07:48] * Stskeeps yawns [07:48] persia: u-m patches for hildon desktop seem to apply fairly cleanly on top of latest h-d release btw [07:49] Stskeeps, Cool. Ubuntu passed FeatureFreeze, so we avoid updating to the new upstreams between now and release, but for the next cycle, that ought make the merge go smoothly. [07:50] yeah, was just informing :) [07:50] How is your effort with upstream going? Are your patches getting merged? [07:50] when it comes to hildon-desktop (the old UI) they've pretty much put that codebase in our hands, their new clutter-based hildon-desktop is what they're focusing on now [07:51] where desktop and home area is seperated [07:51] In that case, I'd encourage you to review the u-m patches, and accept anything you think is worthwhile. Be nice to drop the distro-specific patches if possible. [07:52] *nod* we have merged them actually, and working a bit to see what we can make of them [07:53] been playing a bit with marquee :) [07:55] Cool! [07:59] we have a rather insane artwork guy so we're trying to implement some of his themes and ideas [07:59] http://tabletui.wordpress.com/2009/02/18/mer-ui-scalability/ [08:09] Stskeeps, Sorry. I was distracted. So you're looking at scaling from 240x320 through to 1600x1200? [08:10] Or just 480x640 through 1600x1200? [08:10] for instance, but this was just a blog article based on a challenge to employ hildon-like UIs on smaller screens and bigger screens :) [08:10] so he made some mockups [08:11] Well, it's very promising. === ogra_ is now known as ogra [13:13] mer looks like unr === DJW|Home is now known as DJWillis [13:20] ian_brasil, Kinda, although the underlying components are closer to Ubuntu MID === gletelli__ is now known as gletelli === nslu2-log_ is now known as nslu2-log
