YoBoYbug 120854 <<i don't if i treat this like a wishlist, or invalidate it, some ideas ?10:50
ubottuLaunchpad bug 120854 in hostname "hostname manpage should warn about other implementations" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/12085410:50
thekornYoBoY, IMO this should be won't fix10:59
thekornif the reporter still thinks it is a problem, he should get in contact with the auther of the tool/the manpage11:00
thekornand ask him to fix it 'upstream'11:00
thekornnothing we can do in ubuntu about it11:00
thekornYoBoY, btw, nice mugshot: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/21002588/sparkledesign-ubuntux192.png11:04
YoBoYnot my creation but tanks :)11:09
YoBoYthekorn: i can't mark "won't fix" i can only confirm or invalidate... :p11:10

torkianohello all15:09
torkianoasac, hello again, how can i help with bug #348275 ?15:10
ubottuLaunchpad bug 348275 in plasma-widget-network-manager "[iwlagn] networkmanager applet cannot connect to WPA2" [Critical,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/34827515:10
torkianoAdd linux as affected package?15:11
YoBoYtorkiano: you can provide a patch? :)15:13
torkianoYoBoY, no, sorry ;-)15:16
torkianoI'd like to know if it's a kernel bug or not15:17
YoBoYthe bug is "triaged" but if you think you can provide more information to this issue, feel free to add a comment15:17
torkianoI think that is a kernel bug because affects gnome and kde networkmanager applets15:17
YoBoYwhy you think it's a kernel bug?15:18
torkianoYoBoY, I have ubuntu and kubuntu installed in my laptop15:19
YoBoYyou have the same card and the same issue ?15:21
torkianoYoBoY, yes15:27
YoBoYtorkiano: after a full read of the comments, i thinks this bug could be reassigned to a another package but i don't know witch15:27
torkianoYoBoY, linux?15:28
YoBoYyes, if it's a module problem, it's linux15:28
torkianoYoBoY, ok, I'll change the affected package and report upstream ;)15:29
vocxHas anyone tried accessing gnome's bugzilla recently. I find it extremely slow at times. Maybe they have a lot of traffic? It's one of the reasons I don't like searching bugs upstream, because it's a pain.15:33
torkianoYoBoY, can you mark the bug  #348275 as triaged, please?15:35
ubottuLaunchpad bug 348275 in plasma-widget-network-manager "[iwlagn] networkmanager applet cannot connect to WPA2" [Critical,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/34827515:35
YoBoYno i can't :D15:35
bcurtiswxtorkiano: it already is15:38
torkianobcurtiswx, not in linux package15:39
bcurtiswxtorkiano: so you want the linux package associated with that bug, because its not currently15:40
torkianobcurtiswx, yes, is already associated :)15:41
bcurtiswxtorkiano: ok i see it now15:42
apwBUGabundo, that message you are getting on each resume is mearly a 'your resume is a bit slow' warning and not indicative of an issue per se15:45
bcurtiswxtorkiano: set15:46
torkianobcurtiswx, thank you15:46
BUGabundoapw: hi15:46
BUGabundoI'm even getting it after a normal boot15:46
BUGabundoeven after re-creating initframs as mention by dtchen15:47
apwa resume warning, seems unexpected15:47
BUGabundoits not funny!15:47
apwthe machine boots fine right15:47
BUGabundoyes15:47
BUGabundobut kernel oops fires *everytime*15:48
BUGabundoapw: anything I can do to make the delay warning be bigger?15:53
apwBUGabundo, yeah we can make it longer, its a simple time calculation15:54
BUGabundohttp://paste.ubuntu.com/139591/15:54
BUGabundoI just got that one on a clean boot15:54
apwhow long does it take?15:54
BUGabundomy resume from RAM takes about 7-8 secs15:54
apwis there a bug file for this, can you get one filed, and get a boot dmesg log and a resume from ram dmesg log attached15:55
apwi think we need to stop it being a panic and/or have it be adjustable15:56
BUGabundobbl15:58
BUGabundoI'll file the bug for it15:58

penguin42ah right yes - on the original bug16:50
penguin42Ampelbein: Thanks16:52
Ampelbeinnp16:52
iahello. could you tell me, please, how can i force unmount of zip archive? i've mounted zip file with arhive mounter, but now, when i'm trying to unmount it, i get error message, that unable to unmount - "DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."16:57
* penguin42 notes it's confusing where there is an ubuntu package and a launchpad project of the same name17:39
vocxI believe bugs should be filled in "package (Ubuntu)" and then let people or yourself take the bug upstream to "package" it's not that difficult17:41
penguin42vocx: Yeh it just confused me because I searched for the package name and what I actually found was the project launchpad entry17:44
vocxAlways search first in Ubuntu > packages, then you can move from there17:44
penguin42yeh17:48

YoBoYdominiks: yes19:40
dominiksYoBoY: ok, thanks19:42
