sadmac2Keybuk: so when do we get to see some of the 0.10 code?15:52
sadmac2*puppy eyes*15:52
Keybukstill targetting June15:53
sadmac2so nobody gets to see it til then?15:55
Keybukdepends15:56
* Keybuk is experimenting with GIT15:56
Keybukand haven't yet decided either way yet15:56
sadmac2...???!!!15:57
sadmac2git? I mean, I like git, but... what's got you all open-minded about it all of the sudden?15:57
KeybukI'm just experimenting15:58
Keybukam using anjuta instead of emacs15:58
Keybuk(as well)15:58
Keybukdeciding which I feel more productive with/in15:58
nottingwhat, no eclipse?15:59
KeybukEclipse leads to Java, Java leads to suffering16:01
sadmac2I haven't used anjuta in ages.16:01
sadmac2last I used it it was barely standing.16:01
ion_Keybuk and git? What next? A girlfriend? :-P16:02
sadmac2I think if you must have an IDE emacs is the way to go. No IDE is going to do everything we expect of an IDE well, which means the only way to do it right would be to either make everything pluggable (AHHH!) or just make it a tool to operate other tools in a uniform way.16:03
sadmac2Keybuk: do you have an emacs editing shortcuts plugin for that?16:03
Keybukwhy would I?16:04
sadmac2just because you're getting the IDE doesn't mean you should give up being able to manipulate the damn source16:05
ion_I thought you already do if you pick emacs instead of vim. ;-)16:06
sadmac2ion_: given what happened to the last gay british computer scientist I read about, I'd say he'd better either do that or move :) (wikipedia: Alan Turing)16:06
ion_Heh16:15
keesjI am very slowly getting used to GIT but it was a painfull experiance at first21:14
keesjwith upstart it's just the oposite. it was a fun and good and great the begining...21:15
