[08:15] I hate asking this here, but I've searched and searched, asked on #ubuntu and got nowhere. I'm looking to find the source for linux-image-2.6.24-23-rt, when I get it using apt-get source linux-image-2.6.24-23-rt, I get the regular source with the Ubuntu patch but the preempt stuff is missing, because when I tr to load the config I have running it complains about a bunch of preempt variables not existing [08:16] I'd like to rebuild this package but I just cannot locate the ubuntu patch for 2.6.24.7-rt21, the original one does not apply clean [09:02] gene2: The -rt kernel is built from the "linux" source package. Nothing particularly magical about it. [09:02] gene2: https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+source/linux/2.6.24-23.48 would be the exact source package you're looking for. [09:08] gene2: look under debian/ for the -rt flavour [09:08] it should have the config file there [09:15] hi all, how long would https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+source/linux-meta/2.6.24.24.26 sit in proposed before getting copied to -updates and -security? === tkamppeter_ is now known as tkamppeter [10:04] Kamping_Kaiser: It's not going to get moved until the new kernels from proposed move first... [10:04] Kamping_Kaiser: (And that won't happen until all the bugs fixed in the proposed kernel have been tested with no negative feedback or regressions) [10:24] infinity, fair enough. guess it'll move some time late next year then ;) [14:44] Isn't the latest kernel .40? [14:44] Leon_Nardella, latest where? latest upstream is .29 [14:45] In the topic. [14:45] 2.6.28-11.40 [14:45] could be right. *hasnt looked8 === tkamppeter_ is now known as tkamppeter
