[01:33] hey guys, trying to pin down a kernel bug [01:33] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/292155 [01:33] Malone bug 292155 in linux "Ubuntu freezes on startup with 2.6.27-7 generic until power button is pressed" [Undecided,Confirmed] [01:34] Just pinned down more details, see last comment on the bug page [01:38] kees, thanks, I'll leave it a day or two then try again. [01:39] kees, (as i dont know how long it'll take to propagate to a local mirror) [01:48] yeah, it's upstream. Can;t find a report thoguh, I'll report it to bugzilla.kernel.org just now === k-s is now known as k-s[AWAY] === _Purple_ is now known as _Purple_away === k-s[AWAY] is now known as k-s === k-s is now known as k-s[AWAY] === asac_ is now known as asac === maxb_ is now known as maxb === _Purple_away is now known as _Purple_ [12:29] Hi [12:33] I guess nobody's around now, but anyway: some days ago I explained that with Jaunty my filesystem (ext3, same with ext4) got corrupted all the time (randomly several times a day). I guess this must be a kernel issue, if not please tell me what else it can be. I've been tring with Debian Lenny now and both 2.6.26-13lenny2 and 2.6.29-3~snapshot.13390 kernels work fine. [12:34] If I take Jaunty's kernel will it build & work on Debian (to try to reproduce the issue here)? Or what else can I do? === emgent_ is now known as emgent === gouki_ is now known as gouki === k-s[AWAY] is now known as k-s === andresmujica2 is now known as andresmujica === asac_ is now known as asac
