[03:58] i want to program my mobile [03:59] i want to program my mobile [03:59] i want to program my mobile [03:59] what do i do [04:15] Well, my recommendation would be 1) install ubuntu and 2) stick around on IRC long enough to see a response :) === Nicke_ is now known as Nicke [10:40] ola [10:43] simple question, can ubuntu mobile be run on a samsung omnia? [10:45] What are the specs for the omnia? [10:45] 240 x 400 pixels, 3.2 inches [10:46] 8 GB/16 GB storage, 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM [10:46] Marvell PXA312 624 MHz processor [10:46] what else do you need info wise? [10:46] At that resolution, you'd need a special interface. The RAM is kinda low, but some people get by with that little. I've heard of using lower-spec processors, but you'd have to roll your own kernel. [10:48] kewl thanks [10:48] The hard bit is probably to get Ubuntu installed in the first place, but I'm not sure I'd recommend running either of the Ubuntu Mobile flavours on that. [10:48] think I will have to give that a try [10:48] It sounds more like a phone kinda thing, and you'd probably want a lower-res interface. [10:48] can always change it back :D [10:48] yea it is a phone === mcasadevall is now known as NCommander [12:19] lool, are you there? [12:20] persia? [12:20] pan1nx, Yes? I'm probably not the best person to answer that. [12:31] pan1nx: What do you mean? [12:31] pan1nx: Are you looking for Canonical commercial contacts? [12:31] for the mobile business, yes, lool [12:40] pan1nx: I think the correct contact address is mobile@canonical.com albeit if you have more specific needs, I might have more specific contacts [13:45] thanks lool and persia... === asac_ is now known as asac === amitk_ is now known as amitk [19:39] exit === playya_ is now known as playya__ === playya__ is now known as playya1 === playya1 is now known as playya
