Twigathyhey all, can anyone shed light on why this bug is happening: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/37793715:00
ubot3Malone bug 377937 in linux "SiI3726 port multiplier breaks under Karmic" [Undecided,New] 15:00
apwTwigathy, hrm.  if possible it would be good to get the messages seen when it fails in the bug15:35
apwalso an lsmod and dmesg off the livecd, as it works there15:35
TwigathyTricky -- they flow past too quickly for me to scribble down :|15:35
TwigathyI can do the lsmod / dmesg though :)15:35
apwperhaps a digital photo would capture them15:36
TwigathyGood plan :)15:36
* Twigathy will get to that later today, got a little work to do first15:47
Kanohi, where is rtg?16:51

Twigathyweird - that port multiplier issue seems to be a bit random... works 100% of the time in windows, but for ubuntu it'll hang the boot (either looping through trying to bring up SATA links, or some time shortly after it's done that)21:49
