[04:14] so I have been using ubuntu forever, and I want to start helping out with documentation, i have made a few wiki edits, but what do you think is the best way to help out the wiki? [04:14] edit it :) [04:36] what if someone edits it and they don't know what they are doing and erases everythign? [04:36] Chr|s: we can revert changes if someone makes a mistake [04:36] actually, anyone can revert changes [04:36] I see, well thats always good [04:37] yeah :) [21:04] hello, I have recently moved myself to ubuntu from fedora and would like to help with the docs team (I was a docs team member for fedora and have some experince with docbook etc) [21:18] hi zoglesby [21:18] have you had a look at the wiki? [21:19] zoglesby: normally, what happens for "new" contributors, is that they submit a few patches before they are given commit access to the repository. have you been able to grab the doc-branch from launchpad? [21:20] matthew east (mdke) is the guy who is currently heading up the project. [21:20] i'd probably also recommend sending a note to the ML, introducing yourself, if you haven't already [21:22] j1mc: I have not pulled anything yet I am reading stuff on the wiki right now looking at what the same and whats diffrent [21:30] zoglesby: sounds good. :) === pace_t_zulu is now known as pace_t_zulu|nash === pace_t_zulu|nash is now known as pace_t_zulu === nhandler_ is now known as nhandler
