hadsYou can't. Perhaps you could try denying by URL for specific users from Apache though it depends on the URL scheme.03:30
hadsEither that or go PHP hacking.03:30
dewmanGood Evening, I am trying to follow the mythtv dot org slash wiki slash snd-bt97x document and where i am getting stuck at is where it says making your system load the module when it boots. I am not sure what it means when it says echo "snd-bt87x, Can someone explain to me what that section means? I would love to get the sound to work correctly rather then to connect a plug from the tuner to the sound card.03:33
MythbuntuGuest71OK. I think that would make a nice feature. Thanks for all the great work. Bye.03:33
dewmanHere is the log files in case anybody asks.... Via Pastebin...03:37

tony_oHi all. I've got a question. Trying to install Mythbuntu using Wubi. I get to a screen that asks me about using the open source driver for my graphics card (Radeon 8500DV) or using the AMD drivers. If I select the AMD driver I can choose a TV out method. No matter what I do I cannot get the forward button to become available. Any thoughts?04:09
darthanubisHere is a thought...Don't use WUBI to install mythhbuntu, like what is the point of that?04:27
hadsJust upgraded my main backend to jaunty, seems to have gone fine. I had to remove networkmanager as it was disconnecting then reconnecting the LAN but apart from that everything seems normal.05:49
fo3nixHey guys11:42
fo3nixbefore I go out and buy an Apple bluetooth keyboard (new slimline alu ones)11:43
fo3nixCan anyone confirm that they work well in Mythbuntu?11:43
fo3nix(I've seen some conflicting reports from reading around forums and google, but most reports are old.)11:43
gbeefo3nix: might be worth asking that in #ubuntu since you will reach a wider audience and the question isn't specific to mythbuntu11:59
fo3nixgbee: ok, thanks.12:15
Zanthusdamn mythtv13:57
ZinnZanthus: Please watch your language.13:57
Zanthuswhoops13:58

dewman=)13:59
Zanthusyeah14:00
ZanthusI got one tuner going, then started messing around with the config for the frontend and now it can't pick up any signal14:00
Zanthusthere's still signal coming down that cable though14:00
Zanthussomething just went slightly awry14:01
Zanthusthe really annoying thing was that my mythbox was working14:03
Zanthusbut the ext3 partition became full to capacity with log files14:04
Zanthusthen the xfce stopped working properly14:04
Zanthusthen the sql database started having some kind of issue14:04
dewmanhow much disk do you have?14:06
Zanthusits 80gb, and I installed using the mythbuntu 8.10 amd64 image14:13
rhpot1991Zanthus: you should prob repair your db, if / fills up mysql will shut down or die14:29
Zanthusah, that makes sense now14:29
Zanthusbecause the ext3 partition got filled to the brim with log files, that's why the sql errors started14:30
ZanthusI do have a question though; after I get mythbuntu all set up the way I want it; what's the best program to take an image of the hard drive so that I can do a complete restore later on, if I need to?14:34
henrik_gbee: where can I get in contact with the radeon opensource developers?17:28
gbeethey have an iRC channel on this network, but their mailing list might be better - http://lists.opensuse.org/radeonhd/17:30
henrik_thx! so this has nothing to do with mesa or is mesa also maintained by radeon group?17:31
henrik_I saw that superm1 fixed this problem before.17:32
gbeehttp://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-driver-ati if you want the "radeon" driver and not "radeonhd"17:32
henrik_yea! my notbook is problebly not hd material ;)17:33
henrik_But do you know if this has been reported to them before?17:34
javatexanhey robin hood are you around?19:29
