apwso it seems better for the process to be to update them taking whatever defaults we feel sensible, even if its just whatever is offered08:44
apwas that at least will compile, and therefore produce some kerenl, then you are of course free to change those choices 08:45
apwthe key is trying to maintain some level of compiling for the ports kernels in this very turbulant time for the kernel, where new options are appearing in every release08:45
