jumentoushi, i'm setting up an automatic install off my own package server which i've signed, i have made anna recognise the key by modifying initrd but later in the install this key is not transfered to apt02:27
jumentousis there a way i can transfer this automatically, or am i best off trying to script it?02:27
hardawaydoes anyone know when the new build of Ubuntu-netbook-remix will take place14:16
cjwatsonIt's being tried automatically every day. It will not succeed until, at least, bug 391964 is marked "Fix Released".14:21
ubottuLaunchpad bug 391964 in soyuz "cron.germinate change for unr seed branch" [High,Fix committed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/39196414:21
cjwatsonthere is no point checking until that fix has been rolled out.14:21
cjwatsononce that happens, hopefully it'll succeed, but something else might go wrong.14:22
cjwatsondaily builds are like this ...14:22
hardawayi will set my expectations accordingly--thanks14:23
StevenKcjwatson: There's a few other things, but yeah, that's the first blocker.14:23
StevenKhardaway: I'm well aware of the issues and are working through them14:24
cjwatsonright, UNR is going through a lot of flux right now and so build problems are to be expected14:24
hardawayI am just hyped about the product---it is the best I have seen---moblin's interface sucks in my opinion14:25
StevenKhardaway: A more appropiate channel for UNR is #ubuntu-mobile, by the way.14:25
hardawaycool--i will check it out14:25
cjwatsonright, this channel has pretty much done its bit for the time being :-)14:25
hardawaycheers14:26
rgreeningevand: ping15:06
rgreeningevand: I think we are in a position to upload a beta of the usb-creator-kde. We need to get it out and get some testing and bug fixing/patching/translations...15:07
rgreeningevand: actually, I mean the entire usb-creator package15:07
rgreeningI fixed up the packaging. It now builds and there's a common pkg now...15:07
rgreeningevand: ping me when you have some time to chat... I have a beta posted in my PPA on lp:~roderick-greening15:08
StevenKaaaaaaa15:21
evandrgreening: okay, I'll look it over in a bit15:32
rgreeningevand: awesome. the sooner we can get this into hands to test, the better15:32
evandabsolutely15:32
rgreeningit needs a lot of love :)15:32
rgreeningHAL == teh evil15:33
rgreening;)15:33
evandyeah, thus devicekit-disks15:35
rgreeningevand: any idea on how to integrate policykit?15:38
* rgreening wonders if bindings are available yet..15:39
evandto be perfectly honest, I think the best approach would be switching to devicekit-disks across the board would be the best way of handling that, as then we'd only need policykit for the linux-specific bits (remastering the squashfs in the future)15:40
evandI could be wrong though.  I'd have to look at the problem closer than I have.15:40
evandand I'd rather get everything working smoothly before we tackle problems like that15:40
rgreeningsure thing. you da boss :)15:42
rgreeninglet's get it uploaded first.. work from there. I need help with translations for it too... KDE + GTK bits...15:42
* rgreening is not good with translations15:42
evandme either, but I'm sure we'll get that sorted out in fairly short order.  The translations community tends to spit blood at the first sight of an untranslatable string (to our benefit).15:44
rgreening_heh15:53
=== rgreening_ is now known as rgreening
CIA-3usb-creator: evand * r120 usb-creator.trunk/debian/ (3 files): Fix usb-creator-gtk.install paths. Loosen the globbing for the paths in the other install files.16:30
rgreeningevand: thanks. that's much better. Oh, and I didn't realize I left the 2.6 in the -gtk install.. oops. not enough sleep I guess when I did it :P17:39
rgreeningevand: othat then that, the packaging seems in failry good shape. though I wasn't sure what to do with the list-missing po files...17:40
=== dpm is now known as dpm-afk
cjwatsonevand: do you know what's up with bug 317059? I thought that was supposed to work nowadays23:12
ubottuLaunchpad bug 317059 in usb-creator "USB Startup disk of Ubuntu 8.10 alternate: option "recover a broken system" does not work" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/31705923:12
evandcjwatson: it definitely should, but perhaps a slight change somewhere is breaking things.  I've added it to my TODO list for tomorrow.23:13
cjwatsonthanks23:13
evandsure thing23:13
