[00:09] seevee: on your package manager search for flash, remove any plugin, gnash, swfdec or whatever [00:10] BlueChili: ok, but the package manager gives me the bomb nearly every time I run it. [00:13] seeve: that may act as a flash alternative, then again do a sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree [00:14] ok. in process. [00:15] seevee: if the package manager it's kicking you, open konsole and use aptitude ;) [00:15] BlueChili: You rock! [00:16] it's running. Boot? [19:29] riano: Wrong assumption... I'm on the livecd now (everything boots properly, but I don't have a login... this is my mom's computer) -- just want to make sure the switch will be seamless to her [19:30] if the cloning to the new drive was done properly, and it's booting right, /I/ can't think of anything else [19:31] Cool, just wanted to make sure. I didn't do a clone (used cp -pr), because cloning also clones the UUID -- which can be troublesome if I want to keep both drives in. [20:03] :D [20:03] AlexZion: possibly people at #kubuntu-it can help better [20:04] that's good man .. :), in anycase, it means , attempt to overwrite `/usr/bin/indiserver which is in the package ind as well [20:04] alarm [20:04] AlexZion: ok, then apt-get remove ind [20:04] yes please? [20:04] and try resinstalling the pack [20:05] AlexZion: that should do it [20:05] unfortunately i dont know where to look [20:05] alarm: i had something similar a few weeks ago. does your grub show previous kernel imagtes?
