[15:23] cr3: Wait, I might have figured it out -- do tests have to have a newline appended at the end of the file? (A blank line) [15:25] depends, where are you adding the test? [15:25] I was appending it to an existing test file in /usr/share/checkbox/tests [15:25] It seems to work now that I threw the newline in [15:26] Though I did discover an exciting way to make checkbox segfault with a badly-formed test file if you're interested in that :) [15:28] fader_: which version of checkbox? and did you add a suites file too? [15:29] cr3: Actually it was checkbox-compatibility, and there was already a suites file for it. (Which just cats all of the files in /usr/share/checkbox-compatibility/tests from what I can see) [15:29] Latest PPA version of everything [15:30] fader_: ah, that's different then, the suites file does cat * which would basically concatenate two test definitions at once if you don't add a newline [15:31] fader_: I could write a filter script to prevent that [15:31] for now, caveat emptor [15:31] cr3: It's nbd now that I know to do it but it confused the heck out of me until I figured it out. [15:31] :) [15:32] For reference, doing something like: [15:32] description: [15:32] Blah blah blah [15:32] . [15:32] $output [15:32] Blah blah blah [15:32] error reporting could also be improved instead of showing a stack trace [15:32] Segfaults really nicely :) [15:32] I can file a bug on that one though [15:36] fader_: yeah, against checkbox please [15:37] cr3: Rodney Wilcox. === ogasawara_ is now known as ogasawara [16:24] jcollado: hey dude, I thought you were only back next week! [16:26] cr3: Hi. No, but everybody is asking me the same question. Next time I'll have to take a couple of extra days (he, he) === yofel_ is now known as yofel [16:37] jcollado: You just missed us all so much you had to come back early :) [16:38] fader_: More or less (he, he). === fader_ is now known as fader|lunch === fader|lunch is now known as fader_ [18:00] fader_, schwuk, eeejay: how do we do this call together? [18:01] irc perhaps, in #ubuntu-foo? [18:01] cr3: That might be the best way [18:01] excellent, so I can let my script go wild [18:02] mathben: hi there!
