[11:00] <kedars> I built an RFS using debootstrap. I have been incrementally adding packages to the same using apt-get install. Now I have ended up in a situation where I cannot quite change the password of any user.

[11:01] <kedars> I have already done "pwconv" and my root user can login properly into the system
[11:01] <kedars> but when I try to chagne the passwd for any user this message comes up
[11:02] <kedars> probably, i. I need to install something else? pam-something? or try another command analogous to pwconv?
